Indeed, Welcome back Krono!
:)
If I get a few, I will check out the Trek show. I also thought it was more for the younger crowd so I avoided it. But hey, not like I am opposed to it if it is good!!!

Ok, been awhile since I've posted on this thread, but let me throw this up now anyway...
:)

Finished:
- Dark Matter (Apple+) - a sci/fi series about a man who is abducted from his own universe and his ongoing journey to try and get back. Think of the show Sliders meeting The Kidnapping. This was okay, I have issues with some of the choices in episode three (which I can't go into here) and the ending was... a little too much, but it was an okay little show. And its never hard for me to watch anything with Jennifer Connelly in it  ;)
- Franklin (Apple+) - Michael Douglas may have never acted so poorly. This was okay, very slow (which I was expecting), and while historically accurate (showing Ben in France, trying to obtain money to fight the British), there wasn't much "punch" to this show.
- Welcome to Wrexham (Hulu) - Yeah, okay, I have... I HAD no interest in "football" and only watched this for two reasons. One, because I needed something to watch during downtime when the wife couldn't watch with me (something she had little to no interest in) AND two, my total man crush on all things Ryan Reynolds  ;D This was a great doc/show. I had no idea that British league soccer err... football... moved in and out of pro-levels like they do. That is awesome. If you finish in the last 3 or 4 spots in your league, you get booted to the next lower league and if you win in the lower league, you move up to the next highest. That is cool as hell!! I mean it is like if the Cleveland Browns, after years and years of being shit, were relegated out of the NFL and had to play in the CFL.  ;D
- Fallout s1 (Prime) - A great adaption. This was fun as hell. Violent, funny, sad... yep, top marks for this post apocalyptical show!!!!

Currently Watching:
APPLE+
- Presumed Innocent - A murder mystery, based on the book (and technically a "remake" of the Harrison Ford movie) with the same name. Only one more episode to go (coming Wednesday) and the wife is mad as, not only does she not remember who did the killing, it irritates her that I do remember.  ;D
- Trying - A British comedy/drama about a couple going through the adoption process. Really heartwarming and funny. We just finished the first season and ready to start the next tonight.
- Sunny - A sci-fi series about a Japanese robot engineer/designer that dies in a plane crash and the mystery surrounding his work. Which includes the new "house'bot" that is now by his wife's side (played by Rashida Jones). Very trippy, but very cool
MAX/HBO
- Hard Knocks: Ney York Giants - Ahhhh, true "football"  ;) ;D
- Hacks (s3) - Been a few weeks and this is a series the wife and I need to get back to, but it is pretty fun, for a time killer
PRIME
- The Boys (s4) - It is kind of frustrating when this show tries to out Boys the Boys, with crazy sex and gore, but all the same, I watch. I will also say that while, in the past, this show rode a little on the edge politically, while leaning left, this season is full bore. Most subplots are mocking the crazy conspiracy side of things IE
Spoiler
Pizza-Gate

, which I am personally fine with, but I would rather not be beaten over the head with most political stuff. I have no problem with shows being relevant socially, but man, yeah, I mostly feel like the character Alex from A Clockwork Orange at times (if you know the scene I am referencing, you get two points!). ;D Only one more episode to go this season though, and then one more final season, so I can make it
YOUTUBE
- 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (s12) - A British "maths" and anagram panel show featuring the best and greatest British comedians. Sounds horrible? Try it. It is funny as hell. It is also fun to play with the wife because we keep score. She blows me out of the water making words out of the random anagrams (she gets 7 and 8 letter words all the time, while I am lucky to get a 7), but I keep it close with the math section.  :)

Coming Soon:
- The Bear s3 (Hulu) - This season has started, but the wife and I are waiting for it to finish dropping so we can binge the season. This is a fantastic, yet frantic show. Love it!!
- The Lady in the Lake (Apple) - A murder mystery? Well I'm always down for that!!

I think that is all... I think? No, there is more, but I just can't think right now.
;D
I will edit this later.
;)

I did, but I had no idea that promotion and relegation was for every single British League team. Thought it was just for the top couple leagues. The way it works, even "regular joes" teams, people that get together on the weekends, can potentially rise up. I mean, the sheer amount of British teams is astounding, and the fact that each and every one of them COULD become a premiere league team is crazy.

It is highly unlikely, and once you get down to the lower tier it is highly doubtful you will rise to the top level, or even the top three, but yeah, there is a chance.

There is no NFL or NHL owners group that controls the entire system and dictates what team does what. Again, it would be like The Browns being kicked out of the NFL. It's crazy.

Same.

On my list, but... it may take me a year to get to it with the amount I have.
Of course, I don't figure the wife will want to watch, so I can probably get to it sooner.

I hope he did, and you as well if you give it a go, but it took too long to "get there" for me. It is good, but I found the hype surrounding it to be a tad more than the substance. As a drama, it is fine, enjoyable even, but it is a slow burn. Which is okay, no problem with slow burn, I just expected more meat a little earlier on I guess, based on the raves that I was seeing when it first hit.
But I would say it is like LOST Lite... until it isn't
;)
(Although admittedly, I am also not a huge fan of Melanie Lynskey, on anything other than her portrayal of Molly Strand in Castle Rock and (of course) Rose on Two and a Half Men, which she crushed)

I lost interest after the third episode, but my husband LOVED it. Binged it and season 2. He's ready for season 3 which is released next year.
