ABSOLUTE BATMAN #5 - I liked it. Pretty good issue over all.  I would have been happy if this was the end of the arc but I guess one more big issue for the arc is ok.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Alpha - I liked the Jason Aaron preview.  This could be fun!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 - And it is fun!  Rafael focused story and classic Aaron writing.  I'm sucked into the drama right away.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - Michelangelo.  A lot fun!  Aaron has a hit on his hands if it keeps going like this.  I like that the team is apart and having to slowly regroup to face the growing threat.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 - Leonardo.  Even more awesome!  I am completely loving this.

That's awesome to hear how much you enjoy TMNT !! It's been really cool! And it keeps it up!

I read...

MARVEL

All done!

Iron Man #2 -waiting to see when this isn't a riches to rags story of Tony's company getting sold to his enemies, and he fights back from nothing but just his grit and tenacity.
-because that's all it is-again...

Hulk 800 - I decided to look through it. I don't think I've missed anything in the last 8 issues. I swear

Amazing Spider-man 62 - feels...not...cool? I dunno, just not catching me

Uncanny X-men 6 - I am coming to like Gail's writing voice on these mutants more and more

X-men 7 - Lets see how this is going to play out. I'm ...aware lately, of how violence against imprisoned people in these books seems to be around a lot. An odd thing I just now thought of typing, and I could do without, I guess! Not that that cuts down the book.

DC

As was said,

Legion 249-250 -end to the Great Darkness Saga, and the fallout!! I did not remember all this at all!

Absolute Batman 5 - heh heh, got it early read it, enjoyed it.
-Abso Superman has got to kick it in gear, compared to Bats & WW!!

FF - Much better... no... just plain better than last issue, but much more fun for me. This really is Perez, still learning, but throwing it all at the wall and most everything sticks. I see stuff here that I will later see done even more spectacularly when he gets to Titans, but its he is damn good here, even now. I even enjoyed this bullshit story as well, haha, look forward to next issue, as it was one of my favorites for months and months, back in the day. Probably not so much now, haha, but still looking forward to it.

Ult Panther - Better look at... the person at the end of the issue, and the power set involved. Gotta take time to once again give props to the Ultimate editors, as once again a fill-in artist is chosen and their style looks/seems very much in line with the original series artist. This is the way fill-ins should look. Different, but also similar. That said, the issue did seem like it had a drag to it, maybe a little too long for what we got, and it wasn't an over-sized issue or anything, but still nice to see the new player in action

DAZZLER #3 (OF 4) - if it wasn't for the fact there's only one issue left, I'd be out. Just want to see how it ends but I don't recommend this.

MYSTIQUE #2 (OF 5) - wasn't sure I liked this issue at first but it definitely got better as the story progressed.  I liked it a lot by the end.  Looking forward to the next issue.

ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #10 - Now we know who the mystery lady is.  Sort of.  Will be interesting for sure.

UNCANNY X-MEN #6 - prelude to the Raid on Graymalkin crossover starting in X-Men 8.

X-MEN #8 - Raid on Graymalkin part 1. Pretty decent by the numbers start for a crossover.

FF - People say this run, at this time, ranks out as just being an average run of the First Family, but I love it. Capital "L", Love it. Molecule Man makes his return and after turning Ben Grimm into a glass statue (and not breaking him into pieces), Sue shows out her shit and bam, end of argument  ;) But oh no, Reed absentmindedly picks up Molecule Man's control rod and BOOM, Reed is now possessed by the man that can control molecules. OH NO!!!

Made a lunch run to my LCS.

Herculoids #1... I wonder if they will eventually crossover with Space Ghost, too.
JSA #5
Justice League: The Atom Project #3
Space Ghost #10
Thundercats #13
Web of Spider-Verse #1

Also, I got Booster Gold (2007) #24, 25, 27 as an eBay bargain.

I didn't pick it up, but the variant covers to Doctor Strange of Asgard #1 are really cool looking.

Absolute Batman 5 - heh heh, got it early read it, enjoyed it.
-Abso Superman has got to kick it in gear, compared to Bats & WW!!

*******
JL The Atom Project -between this and Jenny Sparks, no one is cutting Captain Atom a break! Nathaniel is a character I've kinda always wanted to find the best writer to just make him the hottest book. Give 'em to Priest!!

Batman 157 - There is nearly the last line from Gordon I don't like at all, which kinda flies in the face of who Gordon should be after all these years. I'd have edited it out, for sure. But Tony Daniels and Jorge Jimenez delivered on their pages! Thanks Zdarsky!

JSA 4 - the story might be there with Lemire writing, but Olortegui on art has to go. He's not a prime time or entertaining artist in his style for this long. JSA is gonna get itself cancelled again real fast. considering the awesome history of artists on JSA at it's last great height with Johns....this sucks now

Absolute Superman 4 -so much building....I so want some payoff....now! now?

Batman Off World 6 - yes, this was awesome! Thank you Aaron and Mahnke! You delivered for me!!

Batman Full Moon 1 - so much setting and mood art in this. Awesome mood art, storytelling aspects of it are okay. But I'm gonna read more!

Geiger 9 & 10 -I enjoy this!
Redcoat 9 -I like this a lot too!
Conan 18 - s'okay. I'm happy about the villain appearance. I look forward to more of that influence

TMNT Vol 1, 1 & 2 - Going back to the beginning! This was reboot/rebeginning of Ninja Turtles comics with Eastman returning to write his original creations! This goes for 150 issues before the soft reboot for the current Jason Aaron run! ALL the collected volumes are on hoopla, so here I go!

Time Before Time vol 3 - Oh, what an ending! 2 more main volumes to go!

Absolute Superman #3 & 4... Honestly, I am enjoying the back story on Krypton more than the "realtime" with Lois and her Dad. I love that Primus from the Omega Men (old school reference) is someone from his past. My guess is that it's Lana.

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #4 - slow start and I was starting to get bored but then it took a pretty good turn. Wound liking this issue and pretty optimistic this will take off next issue.

BATMAN #157 - Glad that arc is over.  It really wasn't good.

BATMAN: OFF-WORLD #6 (OF 6) - Man. This was a really good mini except for how the baddies are ultimately defeated. I hated that. Seemed so stupid. Otherwise it was a fun mini, had some awesome new characters for the DC universe, and absolutely amazing art. Just needed a better way to defeat the villains.

Green Arrow - I read issue 18 again, just to remind myself of what had transpired three months ago, before I forgot I wanted to read this because I like Condon's stuff (what little I have been exposed to) and yeah, it was good. It got me set to read the next two issues I had forgotten about and while I did enjoy them, I do now remember why I am not a Green Arrow fan. There are parts to his make-up that I enjoy, his brashness, his Batman'esque way of dishing out pain and not caring that he does and of course his anti-corporation stance is a HUGE win for me, but holy hell he can come off as being a little freaking panzy ass at times. It's like listening to an Emo in a cape. The entire prison scene in that last issue was just a bit too much preaching, but again, that's a personal thing. It was done well at least. Haha. I mean, all that said, I still enjoyed this and am very, very intrigued with that ending!?!?!?! Yes, I will be back!!  ;D

LoSH - I remember this, even though it is somewhat vague, but yeah, I thought they were going to have the reveal this issue, in the way it was heading. Haha. Still can't stand that Levitz teenage pettiness that he has to throw in at least once an issue (this time with Dream Girl being a little too bitchy towards Element Lad for not congratulating her on winning the team leader post), but man, the fun is certainly here. Mon-El? I mean, BOOM!! That was awesome and that is one of my favorite legionnaires, but damn he got KTFO. Haha. ;)

Hellblazer - A very well written issue. All talking heads, so not for everyone, but man, just two friends, out having a drink, reminiscing, but still such a great read  8)

JSA - I have to say that I agree with Jimbo on almost everything he said about this title. I don't hate the art as much, even though I originally despised it on his Flash, but it is not a fit for this title I think. I don't know, I go back and forth with it. Sometimes, some panels, it looks like something Todd Nauck would do, and I love the Nauck, but mostly I feel that there could be so much more impact if a different, darker styled artist was on board. Maybe? And sadly, the story, the writing, hasn't hit me yet either  :'(

Batman - Not the best fill-in arc, looking forward to the next run, (Hush, here we come again once again) but certainly agreeing with Jimmy on Gordon  >:(

Absolute Supes - Best issue so far, for me. Lots of talking heads (again, this week) but also lots of cool information and broadening of the world.  :)

JSA #4 - a better issue this month and the art seemed better too.  Maybe I'm just getting used to it?

JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE ATOM PROJECT #2 (OF 6) - an ok issue. Moved the story along slowly but still fun reading a Captain Atom centric tale.

Legion of Super-Heroes #292 - The Great Darkness Saga part three - another great issue.  This was the Legion at its best and it still holds up.

Absolute Batman #3-5... really liking the origin story and flashbacks. The conversations between Bruce and his father in issue #4 were the best! I was hoping it would wrap up but it looks like we have one more issue.

Herculoids #1... I loved the cartoon but didn't know much of the backstory. Great intro issue but seemed short on pages.

Justice League: the Atom Project #2... Meh. Not impressed. With that title, I was hoping for more of the Atom(s) and less of Captain Atom. It's a six-issue mini and I am not sure I will be finishing it.
