Moving over a couple from last week as seeing the Thunderbolts movie on a spur of the moment Sunday, took up my last minute reading time. Although it looks like I will only be getting a couple FCBD issues from Marvel this week, no new comics, so maybe I will add more to Hoopla... though I have plenty already... which means I will probably get behind and read nothing. All are possible options
;)
And heck, with Marvel usually having less new titles each week than even Hoopla for me, I am relegating them to last on the list

FCBD FF/X - Decent enough story, for both, but nothing either of them give me gets me excited for the upcoming stuff.

FCBD Amazing/Ult - A little better here, especially considering the Spidey part had JRjr art

GLC - Ha, okay, so we find out about the egg. I did love the font used for... that part

Batman: Dark Patterns - HA!

Loved the one panel ode to Adam West Batman and also enjoy that "Scarface" can't pronounce his "B"s (he isn't a great ventriloquist ;D )

SABRETOOTH: THE DEAD DON'T TALK 2 - Interesting gang story from the gilded age. So far it's fun.

X-Men 10 - Not bad and fun to see Fantomex again. Cyclops is turning out to be a true strategist.

Mystic 26 - Good new arc where Giselle visits the other guilds to repair relationships. This on e focused on the Shamen.

Mystic 27 - This issue Giselle visits the Djinn and we learn their history.

Mystic 28 - The Astral guild is the next stop and some crazy Magic ensues. The antagonist is funny. I need to see what the writer looks like. I suspect he is similar to the antagonist 😁

U & I #1-6 - Another good Straczynski Resistance mini. Isabelle is the only known reborn to not gain powers. Life for her sucks until she meets U - a reborn with a large amount of power.

Deadly Class Issues 32-35 - I forgot the last volume ended with a cliff hanger. Dropped right into the middle of a full on Ninja war. The wrap up of that arc was awesome! They make a joke about a Frank Miller comic and it's so appropriate to this blood bath. I'm gonna be breezing through this edition!

Legion of Super-Heroes #302 - Lightning Lord attacks! Good story. This was when the Legion was so much fun.

ABSOLUTE BATMAN #7 - OMG. I was planning to come here to complain about the art but then I turned "that" page and was absolutely horrified. Wow. This took a dark turn and completely overtook any possible complaints I could have had. Amazing.

BATMAN AND ROBIN #20 - a very good issue. We take a couple side trips in this story. One through the journal of Thomas Wayne and another through a comic journal of Damien's. The story ties them together nicely and brings some interesting things to light.

GREEN LANTERN CORPS #3 - that wrapped up quicker than I expected. I liked it though and I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would.

BATMAN DARK PATTERNS #1-3 - First arc is pretty creepy but an interesting crime story. I can get into this I believe.

Deadly Class Issues 40 & 41 -Tensions between our friends are disturbingly going the wrong direction. Since no one seems to be safe in this series, I'm worried!

Avengers - Spotlight on Beast, but drawn by Carmine Infantino (whom I am not a fan) but with the inks by Rudy Nubris, it looked very different than usual Carmine stuff. A decent read, but nothing major happening

Conan - The Queen of the Black Coast stories continue. I loved this era of Marvel's Conan and was so pissed when (spoilers... ahead....) when Belit finally bit it. I didn't know it was coming and at the time... yeah, I was mad as hell ;D

X-Men - Really good Byrne art here. Loved the Savage Lands stuff from this time and it limits the time Byrne can bypass backgrounds :D

Savage Sword - A decent issue of four stories, most were pretty decent, enjoyed the Liam Sharp story the best. Loved the 'creature' in that one. Need to find out if she... it... is a Robert Howard creation I had not heard of (or remembered) or if she is a new character.

Youngblood - Speaking of backgrounds ;D This is a Joe Casey re-written story of Youngblood #1 and while it is certainly better reading than what came prior, the Rob Liefeld art is still like knives to my corneas. Couldn't make it all the way through. >:(

Redcoat - A good story, but I was expecting a little more showing from the new character. I think the book just read far too fast, maybe? ???

Legion Annual - This was... okay. Art was kind of boring, but not terrible. Story was... yeah... fine

I read Absolute Batman #7 and Absolute Superman #7. Both were darker and grittier than I expected. Loved this take on Fries but not a fan of Brainiac.
