Marvel Premiere - Wow, there were so many things I never knew about Jack (or damn sure don't remember) and it surprised me. The fact that I had fun reading about all of them however, does not surprise me. I have always liked the look of this character. As out there as it was/is, I find it fascinating. Now, the problem with a lot of new characters is on the other side; that antagonist, and yes, that is a problem here.

Not only trying to force another evil group in the mix (Not their first appearance, but The Corporation? Ugh, hahaha), but also a personal nemesis. Much like Moon Knight's rogue gallery, Jack isn't facing a winner of an arch villain here. The dude throws an exploding trowel for Pete's sake, hahaha. I think if they would have just let our boy Jack face off against the Marvel regulars, like he was doing prior to this spot-light, he would have been better served. But hey, The costume, the history, the "Zero Fluid", and the crazy "1 hour of no powers" idea... crazy cool stuff.

Marvel Premiere #44  - I liked it!  Learned more about Jack of Hearts in this little book than I've known for all these years! I liked the art though it didn't look like the Keith Giffen art I'm used to. Makes me want to find all those appearances they referenced

PHOENIX #10 - decent end to this arc and ready for the next one. 

THE ULTIMATES #13 - I did not enjoy this issue.  Kind of interesting seeing this worlds Asgard but the prose writing was too much. I might not make it 7 more months. It's dragging.

Amazing Spider-Man 1 - oh now I remember why I had decided to skip this - Rosita Jr's art.  But I liked Pepe Larazz's art on the main story. And I liked the story.  I'm in!

CG Chronicles - Oh, Jeff, you should read this. It is like a Free Comic Book Day issue, showing a semi-preview of the core four titles, with an important narrator aspect you'll want to know ;) I guess this came out a week prior to the launch?

Hyde Street - Really enjoyed issue's four's... tormented monster, a lot more than issue five's shameful bitch, haha, but both stories were worth the time. I am liking the Twilight Zone'esque structure of this title more and more

Imperial - A good start to this cosmic storyline, but man do I have a question...

Hyde Street - This issue, six, was just okay. Nothing grand, nothing crap. Meh

Legion - I miss the art team already. Haha. Another "okay" issue. Meh

New Gods - And yep, three for three in comic issues that just left me feeling blah. This is fine. Meh

Bat & Robin Year One - Even this title, one I usually end up with a smile or two forced onto my face when reading, left me feeling like I just read four "fine" comics. Yawn.

Legion of Super-Heroes #314 - I like Supergirl being around to torture Brainiac 5.  Their banter is too funny. And I liked the second story with Blok and White Witch.  Their blooming romance is also fun to watch.

ABSOLUTE FLASH #4 - I liked this issue. Fun seeing this universes version of Ralph and a familiar villain.

BATMAN & ROBIN: YEAR ONE #8 (OF 12)  - another fun issue with Clayface. Getting close to the big wrap up.

THE NEW GODS #7 (OF 12) bit of a lull of an issue but there are many moving parts.

It's only Friday morning and I've already knocked out my list and even read a couple additional issues. Woo-Hoo! 
I am sure I will add another title or two before Sunday night, but have no idea what that/they will be.

TMNT - An okay issue, a little off (court stuff seemed very strange... very clucky) but the main issue is the damn use of red text boxes. Red shuld never be used as a text back-ground, nor a text color. Just stop it, letterers!!

Redcoat - A fun issue, showing us more of a certain character, but the last panel...? Oh boy!!!

Battle Beast - I just love this character! This comic, while very simplistic (having its main character just want to fight), is also lots of fun. I love the ego of Battle Beast.  ;D

Power Fantasy - I really like this story of a few people with supreme power and how they deal with each other... and think they are doing good, when... well, there is some questions to be had. I think I am going to try and trade wait this one as I think it would read so much better or easier for me with the flow. But yeah, it's good

Hellblazer - Ha,

a vampire tries to suck on John's neck, but finds his blood is demon tainted. Totally wiped out the vampire. Funny because the Vampire was a true cocky "some bitch"

Devil's Highway Volume 2 (collects issues #6-10) - First volume is better but this was still a good, and more by the numbers, sequel. Wraps up the whole investigation into the serial killer organization.
