Ooops, my bad. Sorry about that. I had thought about that Puppet Master pick for about 3 days last week, but totally forgot about making up my mind on it ;D
I've decided, like Jimmy, to use my recent theater visit as inspiration for my pick. I don't know how well this book reads now, but I do remember parts of this issue, and it came into the forefront of my mind after seeing the FF movie. One of my complaints about the movie was... well, I won't mention why, but yeah, hopefully this issue will give me what I wanted? Of course, as bad as my brain has been, this might be nothing like I remember.  ;D

Oh... and I can give Legion (Tales of) at least one more issue.

Tales of the Legion - Much better set of stories in this issue, including a very important second story. Art in the fist story was... mediocre, but Karl Kesel's inks (he inked both stories) really shines in the second story. I think penciler Tuska must have done only the layouts, as Kesel's art style really shines through in that last story.   :)

Resurrection Man - An interesting story, but the main reason I was excited about the issue was who our main character is turning to for help. Next issue

Ult BP - I swear, I read these issues (most of the Unlimited titles actually) and I get amazed that I get through them so fast. it's crazy. There are things that happen, but damn if it doesn't feel like this damn thing is only 5 pages long  :o

Amazing - Not quite as good as the first issue, story wise, but the art was just as great however and that last page reveal features someone I have heard about, but have never read anything on. Should I be excited for that? No idea, but I am, I think  ;D

I gotta get things caught up from last week; I only read an issue or 4, so time to report in!!

But now...
Amazing Spider-man 2 - Larraz is doing some pretty cool work on this title! Casey has got me curious about what's going on, and I love the Hobgoblin! Bring it!
One World Under Doom 3 - wow this is dumb. Just dumb. Everyone is 'run forward and punch' REALLY that's what you are going to right? Run and punch the thing? Bah. Feh. The ending pages give the idea of what SHOULD be happening to the world.

Fantastic Four 210: John Bryne art! But Joe Sinnott inks! LOL What a fun romp. I enjoyed that not everything was shown to the other characters, and their anger or frustration was real (Reed at Ben, Johnny especially at Ben, but saving him in the manner he did, Ben just fibbing to Reed why Johnny was beat-those are all the cool hallmarks of cool FF writing!

Fantastic Four - Much like the movie, this issue hit with less an impact than I had hoped. Not as much "Inside Galactus' ship" as I had hoped (again, much like the movie) and a lot of recap. Should have made #211 the issue of choice, being the first appearance of Terrax. One of my favorite Heralds  :'(

Absolute Supes - Probably the weakest issue since issue #1, but I can't complain... it had been on an "absolute" tear for the last 6 months. It's allowed to have an issue or two not "wow" me  :)

Legion Annual - I had already started this, when it first came up on the "Dive Back In" section of the app, after I read issue #312 or some such, ha, decided to just finish it up today. An important read, for the future (* smiling after typing "Future" when talking about Legion)  ;D

Sigil 5 - still choppy writing but I think I followed along.

NEW HISTORY OF THE DC UNIVERSE #1 (OF 4) - a bit clunky but interesting how they're going to retell the history.

SUPERMAN #27 - wrap up for the arc was ok. I'm tired of Mercy and Lexcorp and wish they'd just go away.  But the epilogue is the big winner for this issue.  Finally going to get a payoff from the All In special!

Geiger 13-15 - Good end to this arc and some nice setups for several future stories.  I liked the conflict with the female Geiger.

Fantastic Four 210 - I remembered reading this back when it first came out. How fun to see a Wolfman/Byrne collaboration!  Good pick Perry. I enjoyed it.

CrossGen Chronicles 1 - Ah the launch of all 4 titles started here.  Interesting to see how they're may all tie together.  Fun universe.

Scion - A pretty good read, I just wish the colors (or coloring) was not as intrusive to my eyes.  :(

Year Zero - Much better Percy writing here. Much like how I really enjoy Jeff Lemire's non-DC stuff, I definitely prefer Percy's non-Marvel work (although I am not at all putting Percy in the same league as Lemire yet).  ;)

Conan - Loving the last panel reveals of these last two issues.  8)
