I did carry over a couple from last week, but with only one new Marvel and DC hitting for me this week, I don't think that will be a problem ;) Especially when I am going to take a little break from both Legion and Crossgen to allow Jeff to catch up a little, if he can.
;D ;D
Also, as this is a shorter week for me, I'm finally gonna try and start getting caught up (with Jeff as a matter of fact) on Ice Cream Man. Been too long!!!

Legion of Super-Heroes #315 - Fine wrap up for this story arc. Loved seeing Supergirl and will miss seeing her around to tease Brainiac 5.
Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #3 - Good issue.
Spoiler
I knew the destiny of the one child but I didn't remember there were two! Now I'm wondering about the destiny of the safe one!
I've read....
hoopla
Redcoat 13 - cool issue, cool stance by Simon! Thrilled by what is made known for what is coming down the pipe in this comic line!
TMNT 10 - I can't believe there's only 2 more issues coming in Aaron's run here. Been so cool to read and enjoy, quite honestly.
Conan 22 - the story keeps moving, Conan's mythos grows here for me, and it's always great barbarian fun with more past characters are made known!
&
Legion of Superheroes (Tales of now ) 315 & Annual 3 - I love reading these Levitiz/Giffen Legion books. Just as good, I think as the Teen Titans & Claremont X-men books of this same decade.

Deadly - A couple good stories with some great black and white art. Man I love Curtis Mags. I will say that I laughed out loud at
Spoiler
Jack of Hearts falling off the roof, twice, and both times exclaimed his disbelief in not realizing he was so close to the edge. Twice?
;D
Nottingham - An interesting start to what seems to be a very different Robin Hood story. Did not expect that last panel :o
Dark Patterns - Honestly a bit of a let down. Artistically it was still, as always, stunning, but... yeah, I think the middle story will be the strongest. Hoping the next issue finishes it off strong, but I don't know :-\
Hellblazer - Another, in a long line, of side stories from Garth Ennis. He does love his WWII stuff and I loved how he incorporated it into a Hellblazer comic ;)
ULt Spidey - Not much happens, again, in so far as hero-action, but damn I am loving this comic!!!!
Absolute Superman #10
Flash #23
JSA #10
Justice League Dark Tomorrow Special #1
Nightwing Annual 2025

Action Comics 1088 -Waid updating the Superboy mythos. I'm down with this
Batman & Robin 23 - I continue to just really enjoy the story and volume being told here. I enjoy Mendonca's art! Gotta start writing these people down!
Green Lantern Corps 6 - this title is really good for being all over the place with characters from all over the place. I dig it!!
Kal-El Fornia Love - a goofy Superman short story book. I found 3 that I enjoyed. My favorite that I wanted to see was Jon & Conner together. I could use more like that, honestly
Aquaman 7 - if you want an Aquaman book to succeed don't put D-tier artists on the book. I'm not saying A level either, but there isn't anyone else available than the 3 you've dumped on this book?
Mr. Terrific Year One #2 -I'm enjoying watching this play out. Mr. Terrific has been a huge favorite of mine!
Batman Dark Patterns 8 - I dug this. Still that old world feel trying to intrude on the new world order.
& TMNT vol 9!
and deadly hands of kung fu 23!! What cool B&W art by both artists!

The Department of Truth Vol 5 (Collects issues 23-27) - two arcs in this one. The reveal of the Kennedy assassination and the death of Marilyn Monroe. This is such a weird book. I can't tell if I'm enjoying it or not but I can't stop getting it!
Wynd Book Two (Collects issues 6-10) - Pretty good continuation of the series. I like the new chief villain.

Bug Wars - Good art, but man, while I can appreciate how much Jason Aaron put into researching and then structuring this title's premise, how we get there is a cluster #$*%. This story wasn't bad, once you get passed the confusing start (The family just moved to this cabin, now?) and I will give the second issue a try as this is very much Micronauts with bugs or I guess its more like honey I Shrunk the Kids but with more militaristic factions, so I am interested. Just not thinking too hard on why we are here again ;D
Year Zero - AKA Zero Year (haha, I keep calling it that), another good issue. I like the story structure and gotta say, again, Percy is much better when he is away from Big Two stuff... or at least his work is better here than what I was reading of his Big Two stuff anyway. And dang, Jeff, all you had to do was tell me Jaun Jose Ryp was doing the art in the second mini and I would have jumped on this a long time ago ;D
Predator v Spidey - Okay, maybe Percy is just better when he doesn't have to contend with Big Two continuity? Haha, this was really fun. But hey, I am a huge fan of the Alien/Predator universe (not all the movies mind you, haha ;)) so mixing in some Marvel heroes into that universe, in small doses, is cool with me. Yeah, between this and "Zero Year" ;) I may have to change my mind about Percy
Perry enjoying Percy? What has the world come to!?!?!?! ;D
Glad your enjoying them!

Ice Cream Man - Okay, this is a prime example of how good this series can be, even though most of the stories here are less about external horror and more on personal horror (addiction, family regrets) the creep is still deep in this title (That damn spider thing!!!). When this series is done, if not before, I hope the creators release an Annotated Ice Cream Man because there are so many call backs, drop-ins, sub-context, with-in these panels... from posters, names, images... that there is no way to capture them all. Yeah, I can not wait for this title to be gone over with a fine tooth comb to find all the connections

The Deadly Hands of Kung Fu (1974) #23 - that was fun! I picked this mainly for the first appearance of Jack of Hearts in the White Tiger backup story but I also enjoyed the Ironfist story. The black and white art was so fun to look at. I'm becoming more interested in Jack of Hearts origins and plan to follow through on his appearances.
Archangel 8 #1–5 - Pretty good mercenary book. The premise is the mercenaries are the angels from the Bible. Not a big fan of that but it did give the story more weight. I'd recommend.
Titans Annual 2025... Absolutely amazing! I am not a fan of comics that use excessive dialogue, but it worked this time. It was definitely needed as it dug DEEP into Donna's past. Loved seeing so many different parts of her past tie together. It resolved a loose thread from last year and introduced new characters. Plus, the nod to George Perez was appreciated.

Me too! Sounds cool!
Justice League Dark Tomorrow Special #1... Better than I expected. Great crew of misfits. You never realize how many time travelers there are til someone starts killing them off. LOL. Too bad it's just a single issue.
