Batman 441 - Was t just my copy of was that a weird place to end the issue? Felt like a page or two were missing.  But it was fun to see Tim Drakes origin! Marv Wolfman stories are always fun plus Jim Aparo art! Good pick Jimmy. A fun issue for nostalgia.
Legion of Super-Heroes #2 - Another fun issue with the larger Legion of Super-Heroes Villains.  Can't wait to see who's really running this group!
Amazing Spider Man #2 & 3 - Not bad. Enjoyable enough to keep going.  I am ready for the poison to wear off so we can move on.

SABRETOOTH: THE DEAD DON'T TALK #5 - Finale was fine but not as good as other issues. Series as a whole gets a "C+".

WEAPON X-MEN #3 - First arc vs Baron Strucker wraps up.  I like this team: Wolverine, Cable, Deadpool, Chamber, and Thunderbird.  Writing needs to be better but it has promise.  Definitely sticking around for the next arc.
ROGUE: THE SAVAGE LAND #4 - Still fun and a lot of fighting in loin clothes.  The good old days!
FANTASTIC FOUR FANFARE #1 - I'm out. Except I may have to check out that Hickman story coming next issue.

JSA #9 - Somehow this book keeps me in it.  This issue paced pretty good right up to the reveals at the end.  Looks like I'm coming back for next month.
GREEN LANTERN CORPS #6 - I liked it.  Surprisingly the Jennifer Cruz thread was my favorite.
TRINITY: DAUGHTER OF WONDER WOMAN #2 (OF 6) - Despite the idiot teenage behavior there is something kind of charming about this story. I liked this time visit with a Robin from the past.
THE NEW GODS #8 (OF 12) - A nice interlude to get my brain around what's going on.  Another comic I liked this week.

BATMAN: DARK PATTERNS #8 (OF 12) - I'm intrigued with this villain.  Here I thought we were at the end of this story but since we're not I've become more interested in this new villain.
BATMAN & ROBIN: YEAR ONE #9 (OF 12) - Holy cow...THAT WAS AWESOME! I did not see that coming.  Great issue for this series!
ROBIN & BATMAN: JASON TODD #2 (OF 3) - Good issue.  Jason is one messed up little dude.  I'm also enjoying seeing this art again.  Haven't seen it since the Descender/Ascender days.
BATMAN AND ROBIN #23 - Nice penultimate chapter for this story.  Looking forward to next issues big finale.
Bonus Note: Reading these three Batman and Robin books back to back was a lot of fun.  I'm going to try to this next month too.  Fascinating seeing the different dynamics in each Robins early days with Batman and the similarities with what each kid goes through yet the differences in how each deals with it.

Spidey - Ugh,
Spoiler
Hobgoblin? I used to be intrigued by this guy, but now find him irritating. No idea why.
That aside, I don't know, art is great, energetic and emotes well, but the enjoyment from the story I felt with the first issue waned a bit in the second and now, at the third, is diminished even further. I don't know. Maybe I am in one of those "bored with the big two" moods like Jeff was recently saying he was going through?  :(
Abso Bat - Loved the insanity of this. I don't think I would like this if it was any other character, absolute or not, but here, with this art and the Anime style ludicrousness of the story it works well here.  8)
Bat and Robin Year One - Now this is Superhero comics at its finest. Great crime story here. Batman's forte... and even Robin's   ;)
New Gods -
Spoiler
Getting back to the goodness here, and no I didn't mean Granny Goodness. But then again...  ;D But yes, we also get another Kirby product with a member of the Forever People making an appearance. I enjoyed the idea of the Forever People more than the comic, but I wouldn't mind an updated story to change my mind
:)
Jason Todd - I am not NOT enjoying this, it is well put together and a worthy comic, but at the same time, I'm just happy there is only one more issue. And man, I loved Nightwing's costume when he first debuted it, way back in '84, but seeing it now (especially with water color art) holy hell it is so 70's looking  ;D I guess that is why it is referred to as the Disco Costume ;D
Zatanna - A pleasurable, magical mini, but the best thing to happen, for me...
Spoiler
the Oblivion Bar is back baby!!
:D
Legion - Yeah, I am enjoying this title more than its sister Tales title. I'm also thinking that will continue, but there is only a hand full of Tales issues left (ten?), so I can make it through, I'm sure. I will say this issue brought forth a reading memory that I am using for my Puppet Master Pick for next week :)
Batman 441 - I was surprised that inker Decarlo was able to tone down Aparo's flamboyance hair wave  ;D but he also softened a lot more of Aparo's style. Not detrimentally so, you can still see it is Aparo and all his grandness, but yeah, a softer, less "breezy" version for sure. I will say that I am miffed at the ending. The book is missing, I feel, a page at the end? We get the declaration from Harvey, but that is it... it just ends at that last panel? No "Next Issue" or "To Be Continued" or anything? Yeah, something is off. That said, I enjoyed this look back. Speaking of look... and I say this being a fan of most of the coloring techniques that are being used today, no doubt, but there is also just something special about seeing the old four color process that makes comics pop!! Yeah, enjoyed this one!

ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #15 - Pretty decent issue.  I like the mystery of this new arc.
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #16 - The identity of Mysterious! I like it.  This was a good origin issue for Mysterious and an interesting new direction.
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #5 - The story I liked but the art was not my favorite. I like this world's Sabertooth and the person picking up the kids (no spoilers).  Looking forward to next issues big.

F.F.Fanfare -  Wow! I am somewhat surprised by Jeff's "I'm Out" opening declaration regarding this book. I found this to be quite lovable. I mean, I know I am THE Four fan here, so bias feelings could certainly be my reasoning, and with anthologies such as this you're always going to have that "This is an Annual story so it doesn't matter" feel to what is going on, but I thought this was really fun. First story by Waid was a classic in-fighting story (with classic pin-up pages 8) ), the second story... a clear nod to Kirby (and its always nice to see Alan Davis on the Four) and the final story was, again, fun, but with the other guy of the Ben/Johnny feud having most of the grins and I actually laughed a little with Spidey's comment about Johnny being mistaken for Hank Pym by the Bugle's Society Page. Ha, yeah, I thought for what it was, it was great.
Ult Wolvie - And okay... back to back differing opinions with Jeff here (What is going on?  ;) ) but I thought this was issue was FANTASTIC!!!!! Best so far. I was totally invested in the story, so great job by Condon (this is the guy I know) and as for the differing opinion, I, unlike Jeff, loved the art by Lins (He also was the best part of that recent Namor mini, his Plastic Man was crazy fun and his Hellcat mini was pretty cool as well if I remember that correctly). I think Lins' work is miles ahead of anything series regular crap artist Cappuchi'cantdrawforshit'io has done on the title. But art is art and I know Jeff likes his heroes to look a certain way. It's all good ;D

Year Zero - Okay on this, Jeff and I are back to being more aligned  :) He had talked about there being four stories here and yeah, it works very well. I am really surprised I am enjoying the writing as much as I am because I truly didn't enjoy most all of Percy's Marvel stuff. Especially his Wolverine. But here, united with Juan Jose Ryp, his fellow Wolverine artist, I am really digging this stuff. Look, Ryp draws horror like nobody's business, but I have to also give props to the writing here. I hope this isn't an anomaly.
:)
