Now while I would not normally call 22 issues as "keeping it small", yeah, I guess it is small compared to your recent weeks. :)
I know I will be adding more from Hoopla, but as I can't access them right now, I don't know exactly what or how many.
:(
And my pick for this week was chosen as Halloween is right around the corner

Moon Knight 30 - Not bad. Werewolves aren't really my "thing" but I can see why Perry likes this. The art is good and Moon Knight being a part of trying to help makes sense with their connection with the moon. A fun issue.
DEATH OF THE SILVER SURFER #2 (OF 5) - Baffling but awesome. Things are about to get even more cosmic. Looking forward to the Fantastic Four showing up next issue.
IMPERIAL #2 (OF 4) - I liked it though it's a bit hard to get used to a Hickman book with so much action! I like the twists and turns and can't wait to see what happens next.
MARVEL KNIGHTS: THE WORLD TO COME #2 (OF 6) - I was expecting more of a future of the Marvel Knights line but this is more of a future Black Panther story. It's probably good for fans of Priests Black Panther (like Jimmy) but I'm not that interested. I'm bailing out now but may come back if Jimmy tells me it ends amazing.
ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #18 - Well this can't end well. Every month I think I'm going to lose interest and by the end of the issue I'm back in. Same goes this month. Ha!

Legion of Super-Heroes #7 - Good issue. Lots of drama from both th missing Legionaries and the ones back home. Good art too.
Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes #321 - just looking at Dawnstar makes my heart race. Great art by Dan Jurgens as he makes her look great in this issue. Sigh.
Hyde Street #8 - Man this book is so creepy. Starting to get more info on the Boy Scout!
Hyde Street #9 - the history of Doctor Ego. Plastic surgeons are already creepy!
Small stack but happy with my pull.
Green Arrow #29... winding down and almost over. Boo!

Moon Knight - Okay, not truly what I wanted, but a decent enough read... for nostalgia and the art. Not saying this was "bad", but yeah, just not the spooky vibe that I wanted. Guess it's a good thing Rodney didn't want to play :P
;) ;D
Scion - Wow, didn't remember Leonardi (Spider-Man 2099) pencils being here, and yeah, his work here is not as good as I remember him being on other things. Maybe it was a rush job? Regardless of the reason, this art didn't hit for me. THAT however is the least of the issue. The coloring is also still very much out of whack with the series. So dark yet so colorfully bright at the same time? It looks horrible and makes no sense how the two can coexist inside the same issue. Yuk. And I looked ahead and it seems the "Bri'arkness" is pretty much a staple until at least issue 31. I don't remember that being the case but that doesn't change the facts. I also didn't overly enjoy this issue's writing as much, but with both of those art aspects being what they are, I'm sure that impacted my enjoyment level.
Hellblazer - Demons fighting Demons for the chance to go after John? Yes please
Superman - Decent issue spoiled by Superman Asinine Prime ::)
Abs WW - Like Jeff, I thought this second arc lacked a little in the "punch" department, but only due to, I imagine, the first one being so damn amazing. Well, that and the fact that this antagonist wasn't the most engaging character for me. Still, some of the panel work here is just spectacular. And the last page?

ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #12 - Ending to my least favorite arc. Ending was very good and the two surprises at the end have me giddy with excitement.
GREEN LANTERN #27 (STARBREAKER SUPREMACY) - So glad this isn't getting drug out. Decent issue heading towards the finale.
NEW HISTORY OF THE DC UNIVERSE #3 (OF 4) - trip through the '90's and 2000's. Interesting reading through some things I had forgotten and some things I had missed.
SUPERMAN #30 - I'm starting to get worried about where my Legion is going to wind up at the end of this all. I like this Dark Legion but I'm still worried.
Battle Beast #3, 4, & 5 - Excellent story! I ran out of Hoopla checkouts before I could get issue six. Can't wait to read that as it should be the end of this epic journey and battle.

Scion 7 - a break in the action for a funeral but setting things up for the next arc.
Meridian 7 - finally the blurriness is gone and the art is clear. Also a slower issue as we build up to the action which is coming next issue based on this cliff hanger!
Grendel, Kentucky #1-4 - All female biker gang vs town monster. Yeah it's as good as it sounds. 😁. Quick read. I enjoyed it but it's not a must read. Sort of a "Something is Killing the Children" meets Anarchy.

Savage Sword - A great reprint of two of Robert E. Howards most famous Conan stories (that have been recently featured in the Titan Conan stuff), but this time, we get these stories in color. Which is both better and worse, if you know what I mean :-\ . Also a great one page forward'esque piece by current Solomon Kane artist/writer Patrick Zircher.
News from Fallout - this was... "Okay". Not quite "Fine", but better than "not good" ;D Art is similar in tone, but not application, to Ben Templesmith, but... not quite as good. The story is... well... yeah... it's okay. Going to give one more issue a try as I do like Condon, although with each title he does, the level of that "like" seems to decrease a tad from the high level I had with his Texas Blood stuff :'(
Escape - Just really digging this. Is it going to be the best thing you've read all year? No, but as a lover of most all WWII stories (and you don't have to be), I am enjoying this. (Even though the Bats did look like Dobermans to me until this issue ;D )
Old Haunts - So Jeff said I may enjoy this one so I gave it a shot. Yeah, this is right up my alley. Hard case crime mixed with a little of that Twilight Zone horror. Was only going to read the one issue this week... well... I may add more than the three I've read already. :D
Legion - Initially, I gave issue #7 of Legion a so-so rating. I... no... I guess I was a little more down on it than that. But, as the day went on, I started thinking about the issue and realized I was not in the right head space when I read this. I always talk about how sometimes, not always, but sometimes, I have to be in a certain mood to read a certain style of comic and I think I was just not in the "Legion" mood. Seven wasn't bad at all. It's just a couple things I hate about Levitz and how he writes that really eats into my skin. But I need to let some things go. Like in issue 8
Spoiler
how Levitz kept having Element Lad turn things into freakin' Mercury around everyone. Ya know, that element that is poison? And he did it twice in one issue? Why Mercury? Of all the things he could hav... no... let it go, Perry. Let. It. Go.
Anyway, I am enjoying the art here, even though some panels look like a different artist. Overall Lightle seems to have a Pat Broderick underlying style that pleases my eye. Oh, and speaking of art, on the DC Presents issue, Curt Swan's glorious pencil's were done wrong by the inks of Dave Hunt. >:(
Ult Panther - Meh. The next issue may be my last. Just not into this new antagonist at all. At all I say!! :(
Imperial - It is so weird for me, reading a Hickman book, as I always have to reset my my brain because of how he writes. He plots out so well, but usually only gives us the big pieces of the story, leaving us with so many gaps in the narrative, allowing/forcing us to fill in what is happening off panel more than any writer I have come across. It is cool, but can also feel really cold when you don't touch on the parts of the story where the emotion lies. That said, don't get me wrong, I am enjoying this, but like almost everything he writes, I get little to no heart from the telling. :-X
Bring... Abomination - A decent story showing us just how bad Abomination is... and can be. The second story with Mephisto gives us the origin to Sister Sorrow... which I liked more than her design. It isn't Perpetua level bad, but it is so close it reminds me of her :-[ :-\

Legion of Super-Heroes #8 - ok end to this arc. Not sure if this ending is a setup for something in the future or not but it's possible.
DC Comics Presents #80 - an ok interlude with the missing Legionaries picking up at the end of Legion #8 (like Perry said). Weird seeing Legionaries drawn by Curt Swan again!
Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes #322 - Part 2 of the Dawnstar/Brainiac 5 story. I'm enjoying this three parter. And Dawnstar is drawn amazingly hot in this arc.
Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes #323 - Part 3, the finale - This got better with each issue and wrapped up so
