I read ...

MARVEL

Book of Revelation #1 - okay, future story, here we go

Ultimates 17 - I feel for Reed-Doom. I really do. I also won't mind seeing this universe end. It's a good idea!

Ultimate Spider-Man - Pieces are coming together

FANTASTIC FOUR #4 – Nothing wrong with it, but nothing grabbing me either. I think I'm tapping out on this series.

OMEGA KIDS #1 – Really enjoyed this tie‑in. Quentin Quire takes the spotlight, and that twist at the end even caught me off guard.

RADIOACTIVE SPIDER-MAN #1 – Another strong cliffhanger. I'm definitely sticking around to see where this goes.

THE LAST WOLVERINE #1 – Apparently it's the week of cliffhangers. I wasn't into it at first, but the surprise turn pulled me back in. Curious to see what issue #2 brings.

X-MEN: BOOK OF REVELATION #1 – Another solid chapter in the main event. This should be a fun ride, especially with the return of a certain hero.

UNDEAD IRON FIST #2 (OF 4) – Interesting journey for Danny Rand. I'm more invested in where this is all heading than in the path getting us there.

Radioactive Spidey - Read this for Kelly's writing and Walker's art. It was fine, but I essentially realized I could do without both and won't go out of my way to read/look at either again. I won't avoid them, nothing THAT bad, but yeah, they are no longer the draw to a title for me.  :-\

Omega Kids - I am not a fan of the current X stuff, but I saw my boy Fleecs was the writer here so I jumped in. Really, really glad I did. I may be lost the entire time I read this as I haven't read an X book as an ongoing in some timea and I am not reading the main story, but if this is any indication, I will enjoy this title  :)

Ult Spidey - Good issue with a very intriguing final page. Thumbs up all the way  :D

Ult Spidey Incursion - I really enjoy Camp's writing, and I knew going in that this was probably going to be a nothing burger of a story, but damn, this was not good.  ::)

Ultimates - Probably a better story for me than most, as that F.F connection will always get bonus points from me. Loved the final page,

All Star Superman #6 – A heartfelt classic that still hits just as hard today. Morrison and Quitely really are magic together, and issues like this make me miss when comics routinely reached this level.

Ultimate Spider-Man #22 – Still the standout of the entire Ultimate line. Every character—Otto, Black Cat, Mysterio—feels spot‑on, and the book just fires on all cylinders.

Ultimates #17 – The story remains strong, but the wait for the year to end is brutal. That said, this chapter offers another compelling look into Doom's psyche, and it's hard not to feel sympathy for him.

Legion of Super-Heroes #20 – A solid conclusion to the main story, and the art on Dawnstar absolutely shines—reminding me why 13‑year‑old Jeff loved her so much. The backup, though, was forgettable and easily skippable.

If I remember some of the visuals from this issue, and her form that we saw, I can certainly agree that a 13 year old Jimmy would have loved her too!  :-*

Looks like no DC dropped this week so I had to mark them out.  I think those issues will drop next week instead.

Got threw these so far today:

House of Slaughter #26 – Strong start to a creepy new arc, and maybe even a traitor in the mix.

House of Slaughter #27 – Or... maybe not. This issue feels like it's pulling all the previous threads together for one final story, and I'm really enjoying that direction.

House of Slaughter #28 – Things get even more confusing, so I've decided to stop trying to decode it and just enjoy the ride. Lots of characters converging, but who knows where it's all headed.

Marjorie Finnigan, Temporal Criminal #1 – Ha! Fantastic kickoff. I forgot this was a Garth Ennis book, but of course he's the perfect writer for a story about a blonde bimbo thief bouncing through time while dodging a one‑eyed cop. Pure fun.

Marjorie Finnigan, Temporal Criminal #2 – The hilarity keeps rolling. I could do without the blasphemy—should've expected that from Ennis—but the book is incredibly hard to put down and the action never lets up.

Marjorie Finnigan, Temporal Criminal #3 – The plot thickens as our heroine uncovers the true villains' plans, all while her one‑eyed cop sister stays hot on her trail.

Iron Man #1... interesting and fun, then the last page ruined it. Ugh. Not getting #2.

Superman #34... really moving this story along and I hope remnants of this Legion stick around.

Thundercats #23... you can tell they're counting down to issue #25. I didn't watch the Silverhawks as a kid and don't know much about them, but I like that the multiple Earths are starting to overlap. I wonder if we'll eventually see Space Ghost or the Herculoids.

All-Star Supes - So nice coming back to this series, even if it is only for a quick drop-in. Even now, after all this time, this remains a very cool issue with heart and I know that it hits home for certain readers.  :-*

 2000AD -
     - Dredd - Enjoying the worm barge, love the contamination history idea, but my favorite quote "I see the future" "Yeah, how about now!"  ;D
     - Red Dragon - Man, I really wish I started earlier on this one. I am so invested, but so confused.  :D
     - Void Runners - Once again, skipped this
     - Brass Sun - More confused, here, as this one is bigger than Red Dragon in scope. Just trying to get the players and their goal down
     - Rogue Trooper - I love this.
Spoiler
The idea that Rogue has three "buddies" residing in "bio-chips" that are set in his equipment (much like Cable has his AI Belle in his arm) is cool to me. We have Helm (which is the chip set in his helmet, naturally) in trouble as he was put in a computer with a Nort virus (northern faction) and so Bagman (the chip set in his ammo bag... again... naturally) and Gunner (you can guess, yeah?) convince Rogue to put Bagman into the computer to get Helm out. Yeah, looked pretty cool as well.

Crux - Just love this damn series. Nothing more to add right now  ;D

First - Due to the Atlanteans being on the cover of 12, I thought I had the wrong issue at first, haha. I did appreciate the more toned down look of the characters this issue, thanks to Di Vito's art (compared to the over the top Sears approach) but art aside, I am enjoying the Loki'esgue attitude of Seahn, while becoming more interested in Wyture as well  :)

Taking Everyone - I had no idea what to expect when I read this issue, but damn it worked out as I loved this thing. It is almost like a more serious Venture Bros... that still has very funny parts. ;D  I can't truly put it in a category. I borrowed this on a whim (and of course the trade dropped two days after I borrowed the issue, ha) but there is not doubt I will be reading more. Great start.

Legion - Never been a fan of Tyr (not this one anyway) so I am very glad this mini arc is over. Next!

Hmmmm, I wanted to read this, because Joshua Williamson is writing, but then I changed my mind as I haven't really cared about Iron Man in some time. But now... now that there is something that maybe bad, I will have to check it out.
;D ;D
