Ultimate Spider-Man 6 - pretty good book. Still feels like the story is taking forever but I liked the confrontation with Fisk.
Immortal Thor 7 - I can't stand this version of Loki.
Immortal Thor 8 - When did Thors mother change? Not a fan of this issue either.
Immortal Thor 9 - Ok. Back to the good story telling. Loved this issue.

I'm pretty sure the history of titles labeled 'Ultimate Spider-Man' is steeped in taking forever to do anything. 8)
OH! Also, apparently the retcon/re-con that the Phoenix Force was Thor's mother is more that she was like the midwife to Gaea? Or almost the surrogate?
And Frigga raised him as loving mother.

Amazing Spider-man 52 -I've been really on board this for the last 6months. Excited for the last 2 issues!
Ultimate Spider-man 6 - it was fine.
Invincible Iron Man 19 - Good issue. Went over the end of Orchis really quick in the background, but man, I'm excited to the future!
She-Hulk 9 - Oh, next issue is the last!! A great series for me

Plastic Man No More! 1 - overall I like it. Nit picky on the art though. It fits for Plastic Man but the rest of the JLA looked terrible. Still, I'm in for this Black Label book.
Animal Pound 2 - great characterization by King as we move closer to an Animal Farm type outcome!
Animal Pound 3 - oh man. What a horrifying cliffhanger! This is one of Tom Kings good books. Enthralling.

Absolute Power: Task Force VII 5 - not bad nor great. Just a filler issue in my opinion.
Batman: Dark Age 5 - Excellent issue. Really fun alternative reality Batman story. These 70's reimagined costumes on villains like the Riddler are hilarious.
BATMAN: OFF-WORLD 6 - another good issue. Lots of fun battles in this one and a twist at the end.

GREEN ARROW 15 - I like where this went. I just wish it wasn't tied into Absolute Power. But I'm excited by the cliffhanger and looking forward to what I expect to be next issues wrap up.
Friday Volume 3 by Brubaker - Good ending though this book took a weird turn I didn't expect. Still a good book and I would recommend. It wraps up the trilogy nicely.

THE NICE HOUSE BY THE SEA 2 - Fast read as we catch up with the characters from the first series. Still confusing as to who is who from that series.
ZERO HOUR 30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL 1 - Pretty good one shot story. You really have to suspend disbelief to get past some of the improbable things but if you can, it's fun. I like that the Fatal Five are a part of it.

Black Hammer Volume 8 The End - an ok ending for the series. Nothing was able to recapture the magic of the very first series but that's ok. Still a decent read and wrapped things up nicely.
