I read...

MARVEL

Iron Man 5 - I liked it alot! I think there was 2 different artists at work in this issue Perry. I think the epilogue was Balduza

Death Spiral Annual - hm, okay, that's what he was, but still? Eh....

Mortal Thor 10 - I just DIG the road and path this story is on for 'Sigurd!'

Ultimate Endgame 4 - why the F*** is this still going?! And there's another Ultimates issue yet? And then a finale issue yet? What junk. No wonder CB Cebulski got fired.

And Marvel last week was....

Captain Marvel Dark Path 2 - I really enjoy Carol stories that are about her, and not her as 'the most BA Avenger around!' Yay for Paul Jenkins!

Daredevil 2 - okay, this just feels like a normal DD issue...which is a bad thing also, too...

Deadpool 4 - no, not Ellie! Dammit Percy! Okay, there's only one, okay, one GIANT thing wrong with this title
Spoiler
Wade at this point would stop at nothing to find out who was originally behind that suitcase with the worm/blackhole thing to find out how it was formed, where it went, and then sacrifice as much as he could to get his daughter back. He wouldn't just mope around with Blind Al. NOT. AT. ALL.

Amazing Spider-Man 28 - good post epilogue into the next arc. I'm...enjoying Spidey comics again? Thanks Joe Kelly! You are the greatest!

DC last week was

Nightwing 139 & 140 I really am enjoying Dan Watters writing this pulpy, urban legends storyline with the city of Bludhaven, with art that draws up 70s era memories. Good, cool stuff!

Superman Unlimited 15 -High point Dan Slot gives good Superman story, involving Jon Kent, a mysterious young Jon Superboy, and Lucas Meyer I'm going to keep raving about on art. OH, he needs some more time to come into his own to shine as bright as Dan Jurgens did on a Super title, and I'm ready for it!

Super/Bats Worlds Finest 53 - fun 3 parter wrap up in Skatoris with Warlord. Robin held his own without the Big Guys around. Fun tales!

Justice League unlimited 20 - so very very weird. Forgot with the cover it was return of the Brainiac Queen and that mess! Book has faded a bit for me, too bad, as it's the second title of monthlies that Dan Mora draws.

Abso Catwoman 2 - Meh. I'm not into this story, but I'm REALLY not into this art.

OH crapple, I didn't put up issues 3 weeks ago...well, just know I read all my comics from 3 weeks ago, ok?  8)  ;D

Captain Marvel: Dark Past #2 - this was a good issue and I liked where this story is going. Good mystery about Carols past.

DARK KNIGHTS OF STEEL II #1 (OF 12) - Decent enough first issue. I'll give it some time to grow.

DARK KNIGHTS OF STEEL: HEIR TO THE SEA #1 (ONE SHOT) - Ahhhh. A collected reprint of the backup stories in the original mini series.  Aquamans origin was as good as I remembered.

Sigil #28 - the war is over for now and new mysteries are beginning.

IRON MAN #5 - The arc is done. And so am I.  Nothing particularly bad with this, I'm just not that interested.

MAGIK & COLOSSUS #4 (OF 5) - Way too much talking in this series.  Hopefully the final battle will be more action.

ULTIMATE ENDGAME #4 (of 5) - I'm so glad this is almost over.

Groo: in the Wild TPB - A nice distraction from reality. I enjoyed the break this fun tale gave me.

Flash 31 - Well this was actually pretty good.  I think I'll stick around. Good recommendation Jimmy!

Legion of Super-Heroes #45 - So weird reading this 30 year anniversary of the Legion which itself is now 40 years old. But it was a fun journey through Lightning Lads life. Good issue.

Iron Man - It's fine, but... I don't know. I think, like Jeff, I'm out. Depends on how I feel next month I guess

ULt Endgame - While I am glad to see the end of this universe... ("the end"? HA! We'll see) this is just a mistimed exercise. Lateness issues or improper planning is sinking a ship that was already taking on water.

Abs. Supes - Decent enough issue, but well, I am just not a huge fan of "smashing action figures" issues and the art good, as always, but overly crowded this issue. Oh, and I hate
Spoiler
the Moon thing. Anyone see Thundarr? I mean, I know it was "welded back together"  ::) , but... I mean... no
[close]

Abs. WW - Another issue with art... issues. Nothing that killed the comic for me, but it sure didn't raise the level of enjoyment either. I enjoyed the "Baddie" though

Heir to the Sea - I forgot this story was already printed, but I don't think I was too engaged with it when it was told in small clips in All-Winter. But this time, reading it straight through, it was better for me

Brutal Dark - Again, nothing overly wrong with this series (aside from that one issue I hated... issue #3? Maybe), but having read BPRD and Lobster Johnson stuff, which have both similar tones and topics, at times... this was much weaker than any of those, but it was fine

Gotham Central - A five issue arc, somewhat unusual for this series, featuring... well... I will not say. I will say however that I could not put this one down. Is it the best GC tale I have read? Probably not, but it held onto me strongly. Had to finish this in one go

Redcoat - Not saying a thing about this issue until everyone else has read it

Battle Beast - No issue #11 on Hoopla, but saw #12 was released so had to go elsewhere to read #11. Talk about "smashing action figures"! Visually, some great stuff here, even though I normally find that stuff boring, but this was exciting for what it was. However I am ready for character "C" and BB to end this confrontation. One thing I didn't understand was what BB did with his sword. I mean I get it, but seemed out of character for me.

The Path - A very good tale with a surprise guest artist on issue #5. I don't remember that being a thing that happened, ha.

Way of the Rat - From a dark, feudal Japan'esque story to a more jovial, but just as engaging, Chinese'esque, underground crime tale. Yep, enjoying both of these
