Absolute Power - Okay, yes, I am in. I do realize that some of my DCU books that I will read in the next month or so will be set before this, but it was intriguing enough. Especially with the main villain coming into play. Will it hit for me? Probably not (not a fan of Amanda Waller), but it is a big two event so I will at least read the main story (and titles that I am getting anyway)

Hulk - Like Jeff said "... a full on horror series" and I am loving it. Reading panel to panel was so cool and then seeing the double page spreads really set this issue off. Loved the look of the creature... all of them... immensely.

Wolverine - Totally a fun book. Fun and brutal, but still very fun. And with this, the SPOILER CODE is not yet working so fair warning.... I still don't understand how ole Wolverine will
Spoiler
ever have Adamantium on his hand again
[close]
, but sure... comics!

DC Universe Ultra
Action Comics 1064 Brainiac
Green Lantern 10 Brainiac

Hoopla
Ghost Machine 1
Geiger 1
Rook: Exodus 1
Redcoat 1
Fear Agent Vol 2 - (Collects issues 17-32)

——————————————————————————

Action Comics 1064 - Great start to House of Brainiac! I'm goin to enjoy this!

Green Lantern 10 - Excellent continuation of the story as Hal gets the scoop on what's been happening on OA. Goos battles as well.  The backup story "loosely" ties into the Brainiac crossover but it is fun to read a Guy Gardner story!

Geiger - I do like this, I do, but it isn't wowing me with originality yet. I can almost tall what will be on the next page/panel prior to swiping and I mean both art and writing. Issue #2 pushed this issue above Rook #1 (which means Geiger was my third ranked John's title after all the issue ones), but it did take that second issue. Still here, and again, I do like it, just hope for more "Ooomph" soon. Honestly though, having just recently finished the Fallout series on Prime (Jeff, you must watch that!!!) I could be tainted visually and structurally with "apocalyptical storylines". Not fair to compare a comic to a live action product... e3ven though I am not trying to

Redcoat - Okay, this is going to be slotted in the third position out of the Ghost Machine Johns books for some readers, for most readers, but for me, I totally dug it. This was easily my favorite of the three "new" Johns' books. Probably more because I was expecting to not like this at all, so it may be a short lived opinion, but for now, yes, this is my favorite

As of now, with Geiger having one more published issue, which I did enjoy more, I rank the John's books thusly -
1) Redcoat
2) Geiger
3) Rook

I can't top Perry's comments so I'll just say this new world is a lot of fun!

Geiger 1 - Interesting new arc for our hero of the future.  I'm out of checkouts for this month so I'll have to read issue 2 next month.

Rook: Exodus 1 - I really liked this.  Neat premise with the helmets and what they do.

Redcoat 1 - Definitely going to be the most fun. Everyone loves an incorrigible rogue.

Gay Titan

Dick Tracy #1 - Alot of fun and moves at a decent pace. It's set in the past when Dick is young on the force.
Nightwing Annual 2024 - more of an origin issue about Bea but has some interesting tangles with Dick's days with Spyral.
Ultimate Spider-Man #4 - kinda boring. Alot of restaurant dialogue.

I was thinking of trying this out.  Sounds like I need to!
