Phoenix 4 - Start of a new arc so a bit slow even with a battle with Gorr.

Ultimates 5 - introduces the new Hawkeye.  It didn't pull me in to the new character though.  He'll be fine I guess but will take better character development to get me interested.

I read a total of zero comics over the last few days, so carrying over a couple from this past week, with a quick comment or two on the ones I did get to. Hoping for better from me and my reading (from a time management standpoint) this week, especially with the size of the DC drops tomorrow

GL - Ready for the new Corps book and for Hal to be more solo for a time.

Bat Dark Patterns - A decent start with pretty cool art by Sherman (Absolute Wonder Woman). I wonder if he is doing the Dan Mora "Two books a month" thing or if the art duties will rotate?

FF (current) - Man, I had been really enjoying this book again recently, but with the ridiculous "worm make out session" from last issue and this "ghost" semi-story, I am starting to worry. Art was weak as well. Ya know, the norm for this company now

FF (1977) - Now this on the other hand... Yes!! The underlying plot of Ben having three chicks trying to jump on his... rock... is pretty funny, and loved seeing Reed, the true Reed, not the one currently in the Four pretending to be "our" Reed, eat a freaking Negative Zone Bat was amazing. Haha

Ultimates - Okay, I get it. Hawkeye from Last of the Mohicans so Hawkeye is now an Indian. Okay, sure, I get it. Not a bad intro... enjoy the cockiness. This issue had no shot at being as good, or close to as good, as the last issue, so yeah... still good. Well, aside from the art, which SUCKED. Go Marvel!! 

Phoenix - Boring, bad art, done with this.

Ice Cream Man - From the airplane crash to the family tree to the addiction to the roach to climbing the mountain... Such a wild, crazy ass title. No idea why I dropped this after two years, but maybe reading collective hits so much better for me? I mean, I know it does.

Animal Castle Vol 1 - Excellent book!  Very similar to Animal Pound but also very different.  I really liked the characters in both books but the medieval setting in this one made for a bigger story.  I'm looking forward to the next part.

I enjoy it collected as well.  Even then I need a little break between volumes.  So weird and creepy! But you can't look away!
