Just watched episodes 1 & 2. Season 1 is only eight weeks long. Not what I expected and interesting. It's a retro tale before the first Superman movie and set in 2016.

Yeah, I've enjoyed it so far.

Think the casting for Stewart is perfection, and while Hal is... not MY Hal, I like the actor a lot (loved him in Bloodlines) and am very interested in this approach and story. I have an idea of who is who, those that we haven't been told who they truly are yet, if they end up being who I think they are that is (did I just confuse you along with myself there?), but looking forward to seeing if I'm right.

One thing I don't like is how the ring is being used.

Not that I need a green-light beaming something into existence, but I would like it to be a little faster. Except for when John used it with the bird. That should've been slow developing as he is still... somewhat... a new user

That is a very small irritation, but yeah, I do wish it different for some reason.

My picky ass.
;D

And bringing it back around to the subject of perfect casting, the last scene of episode two... THAT was also perfect casting.

Can't believe Jeff hasn't started this yet.
Flog or keelhaul him I say!!!
;D

Episode three was bad.

Baaaad.

There had to be a better way to... promote John's "lack of fear". I mean that was just stupid ass parenting. Well, more to the point, stupid as hell writing.

Plus, you really think aliens give a shit what color we are? That forced "us" stuff was also pretty bad.

BAH

Yep, worst filler episode ever! We were expecting Guy and the other character from the end of episode 2 but got parenting from hell instead. LAME!!!

And was anyone else surprised by the physical stature of the Guardian?
