Still nothing new, that I've been waiting for, showing up on Hoopla, but I did see a new Matt Wagner and Kelly Jones book... a Dracula book? Now that I could not miss. Kelly Jones doing vampire stuff? I am all over that puppy. He, along with a couple others (like the amazing Gene Colon that was just on my Doctor Strange read), are way up on my horror artist scale! Their styles just fit that genre so well

Immortal Thor - This was fine. Kind of left me unimpressed, overall, but that feeling may have been birthed by me overhyping the idea of the Thor/Herc bromance getting back together again ;D  The issue did end  enough for me though.

Ultimates - This I am going to call a compelling let down. It wasn't bad, wasn't great, but possibly sets up a decent development down the road.

Green Lantern Dark - Read all 50 some pages, even though I knew at about page 20 this was not going to be for me. And it is not for me. I'm out. Nothing horrible here, just not my cup of tea.

LoSH #275 - Not a fan of this two part story, especially because it, essentially,
Spoiler
leaves us off right back where we were two issues ago with the apparent death of Ultra Boy making this a totally pointless two issue arc

but at least it ended as a better read than I thought it was going to after the last issue.

LoSH #276 - Ditko is back again on art, but this issues isn't as terrible as the ones prior. No idea why, its the same inker (the same one that makes the other rotating artist Jimmy James look so much better), but maybe Ditko had more time on this one? Don't get me wrong, it isn't good art, just better than his usual. The story starts weak as hell
Spoiler
why are our heroes in cloaks when you can see their entire freaking uniforms underneath? And the "villain" here was pretty easy to guess from the title. I mean "Lord Romdur"... Maybe because the wife and I watch a lot of the British show Countdown (well, the 8 out of 10 Cats version anyway ;D) or maybe it is just that damn easy to see, which is more likely :) , but yes, it was clear from the get go what I was going to see. Although in all fairness, maybe as a youngster I would not have put two and two together, yeah? But hell, they fought this fight far too easily for this guy to be the threat he is... or is suppose to be.

And yes, I still miss the "Roll Call" being a thing :(

Adv of Supes - I don't know. Had a really hard time separating this writing from today's style. Not far removed enough like the 70's stuff I am reading, perhaps? I think my lack of comfort came mainly do to one character's voice being so different, but... I don't know... I just didn't enjoy this as much as I had hoped I would. but I will try and keep going with my Triangle Era run. At least I didn't seem as far disconnected as I had been with the first three separate story titles that I began with. Maybe I was just not in the mood for Supes. I know that is a thing that hits me from time to time.

Superman - Wow, didn't see THAT ending coming. My first impression (which I still have but I am hoping to lose) is I am not happy about it, but I trust Waid, so I am just sitting on my lack of joy at the present time, letting my confused anger fester until, hopefully, Waid writes in a reason for me to celebrate. I am also not a fan of

. I knew at the end of Absolute Power that powers would be a'changing and a'swapping and a'blooming all over, but not liking this one. I am still here, but mainly due to two words:

Dan and Mora

The dude is one of, if not THE, best artist in the big two right now. I also loved how he included himself as a Daily Planet employee
;D

Green Lantern Dark #1 (of 7)... Really enjoyed this and loved the brief recap of the other Tangent characters. My only question is how is this going to be another six issues. I don't see where it's going to need further continuation.
