WOLVERINE #8 - 60 page giant Legacy issue 400. Meh. Still didn't wow me with the story but at least the arc is done.  And so am I.  I'm afraid I'm done with this series.

ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #4 - just when I was starting to get bored they hit me with THAT cliffhanger. Awesome!

Ult Wolvie - While my main hope is that the ending opens this title up to more characters, outside the controlling regime, man, I also would love to see a different artist on this title. I know I mention that Every. Single. Issue... but it's true

Legion - This issue, down to the look of it, seems to already blow the other, sister title out of the water. Going to be a rough year switching back and forth, I fear.

Year Zero - Good start. Going to be interesting comparing Percy's big two stuff with this, but so far it's better here.

Action - A good issue. Yes, it reminded me of the Morrison JLA threat, and thought it was the same at first (my poor memory and all) but I liked this more. We did just talk about this main "villain" character a few months ago as well.
 ;D

I HAVE NO MARVEL THIS WEEK

Which means I gotta try to catch up on my hoopla check outs, I guess!

Sigil - These early issues of this title has yet to wow me, but at least the art is getting somewhat better. Well, overall a better appearance, but there are still a lot of tangent issues (split apexes, half shapes, closed corners) that create far too many bad panels, but yes, figure work is a little better. I will say it took me three entire issues to "See" the remnants of the horrible beating the Princess may have taken? I think? They kept mentioning her injuries, like scars or something, but I didn't see a damn thing ;D They did add what appears to be some more purple on her cheeks in issue #5, to show bruising? Maybe? Ha, I don't know, just thought it was funny.
EDIT  - I just had a peek-see and it looks as though issue #5 is indeed this artist's (Ben Lai) last issue. I think that will make this title more enjoyable from now on.

Year Zero - Oh yeah, I am digging this. Percy is, so far, writing with more ease here. Just writing, not trying to capture dialog, just writing it. Good stuff so far and I will, time allowing, add another issue to my list for this week.

Battle Beast - I read issue one on a whim, no true interest to it other than wanting to see some Ottley/Battle Beast art, but the story is grabbing me. I have added issue #3 already. Enjoying this!

Hyde Street - Another banger issue for this lot. I have been lukewarm to most of Hyde Street (although I did really enjoy the Matinee Monster issue), but this one issue has pushed this title upwards. The General Mills homage is perfection!!!

Action Comics 775 - Interesting book with a face off with the Elite. I had forgotten about this group of "heroes". Good pick Jimmy!

Legion of Super-Heroes (1984) #1 - Good first issue and better than its sister book.  Good collection of super villains heading our way.

So on my way home this morning, I was listening to one of my podcasts and they mentioned Superman #27. More precisely, they started talking about the last few pages of that issue. I hit pause once I heard where they were going, and as it is... what it is about... I decided to check it out.
Superman #28 will be on my list

Battle Beast - Just fun. Period. Brutal in the best way, but fun. Okay... now "Period"  ;D

Star Trek: Red Shirts - I read the novel of the concept many years back, but this seems to be going a different route on a similar idea. Regardless, we all know how well the people wearing red shirts do on Star Trek missions, hahaha, how will a mission solely made up of ten to twelve red shirts go?   ;)

Hellblazer - A character dive. John's ex-girl Kit returns to the U.K and her friends take her to a pub. Lots of talk. Good talk, but yeah, just talk

DC History - A who's who style of comic, showing the new, updated canon of DC. Looked good.

Mr Terrific - Not sure if it was me, this issue or the first issue just hitting me so much more at the time, but this issue left me cold. I will give the third issue a try to see which side of the line I fall  :-\

Abso WW - Another banger of an issue. Just great stuff here from top to bottom. Would easily be book of the week if not for...

Absolute Mother $#@%ing Martian Manhunter - HELLS YEAH. This is top tier story-telling. Visually amazing, but with emotion in the writing that makes you feel for the characters, even if what you are feeling comes from a character being frigid, accidently. Yep, Book of the Week!!

If it's what I think you're talking about it's why I kept Superman on my pull.

Redcoat 13 - Loved it.  Looks like I need to catch up on Geiger since they're all about to connect!

Hyde Street 4 - the Matinee Monster - loved his origin and like the character. Fun issue with future ramifications.

Hyde Street 5 - Missy Goodbody - another good issue. I really need too ahead and read that Devour one shot since it seems to have crossed into this issue.

Hyde Street 6 - Mr X-Ray - so far they're all hitting homers.  This was a good one with a tour bus.  I like how all the chars are getting fleshed out.

Hyde Street 7 - Pranky & Matinee Monster - I like where this took Pranky. I eel an internal war a coming.
