Redcoat 14 - loved it. Great prelude to what promises to be a great story arc!

Geiger 16 - good issue and start of a new arc.  I like the side characters that have built up like a group around Geiger. They are fun and interesting.

Geiger 17 - Excellent issue.  Looks like we might be getting back to the characters on the Strip soon!

SUPERMAN #29 - pretty good issue even with Superboy Prime. I already got a little spoiled on next issue but I am looking forward to see how that spoiler plays out.

Jonah Hex 1 (Jan 2001) - I like the one and done story telling.  This was a good tale and a fitting result in the old west.  This Jonah Hex I like reading.

Old Haunts #1-5 - Good crime drama.  Mob. FBI. And a little supernatural. I recommend as a Perry read. It's also a fast read and all five issues can be read in one quick sitting.

WEAPON X-MEN #5 (OF 5) - So much potential...and there still is. But this issue didn't really do it for me.  I'm hoping they give this another try because it's close to being something really good. Just not quite there yet.

X-MEN #18 - Didn't care for that arc so I'm glad it's over.  Let's see how this Revelation event goes next.

FANTASTIC FOUR FANFARE #2 (OF 4) - Perry was right. That Hickman story was terrible.  I'm out for sure now.  The other two stories were ok but not enough to keep me onboard.

ULTIMATES #13 - Didn't care that much for this issue either. Marvel is starting to lose me even on the series I've been enjoying. This is not good.  Hopefully this was an anomaly for Ultimates. I'm also getting event fatigue on this story arc.

ALIENS VS. AVENGERS #4 - Good ending to a great miniseries. Would love to see more of this for sure.  This whole thing with Sinister was awesome.

THE THING #2 (OF 5) - better than I thought it was going to be but not really holding my interest. I've got too much to read to stay on this. I'm out.

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #18 - Excellent! This is consistently the best ultimate title.  Loved the twist ending and can't wait for the next issue!

Legion of Super-Heroes #319  - Ok ending for this small arc. Funny how the next issue is by the"new" artist Dan Jurgens!

Meridian #5 - I like this story but the art is hard to look at. Still, the ending of this issue really pulled me in.

The First #1 - Excellent first issue with unexpected outcome.  This part of the universe intrigues me.

Sigil 6 - Good issue. The fight for Zanni's life continues and the grudge match between Sam and Loser begins!

Scion 6 - Excellent battle issue. War has begun and it is bloody.

ABSOLUTE GREEN LANTERN #6 - Good issue with some explanations and definite movement in the story.

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #11 - Crazy story with some cool battle moments with the Brainiacs.  Thumbs are up!

BATMAN #1 - Hmmm. Not sure I like this. But Fraction has earned time to bake.  I'll be back for a couple more issues.

JSA #11 - Nice getting the band finally back together but I have no interest in where the ending is leading us.  I think I'm finally done with this title.

Deadpool 15 - end of this volume. Liked what Ziglar was doing! I may check in with Wolverines & Deadpools

Batman 1 - I liked it. Odd choices at parts, but I do like different takes. Jimenez art putting curly q on Bruce's chin weirds me out!

Absolute Superman 11 - banger of an issue! AwesomE!!

Hex - Man, I remember this issue now. What a strong start. Harsh, yes (poor pups), but so well done. 

The First - Formatting aside (Double page spreads clipped into single page, making reading the issue properly, as intended, a pain in the...) this was nice to revisit. it's a little cluster'y, haha, but it softens out to a better story later 

Skinbreaker - A decent first issue by Kirkman and Finch, though I am wondering if this is going to go the route of a fantasy themed title or an alien/other world themed one. Either way, I am here for it. I did enjoy the art, truly, but there were some visual tangents... but with this world design, not sure it would be possible to NOT have that. 

Redcoat - A good issue. Nothing more to say here. Looking forward to the next arc.

Tales - Yeah, I think they dropped the ball n this one. I loved the Mon-El torment idea, but it was far too short. This issue was not the best, by any means, but only a couple more to go. Do I stay on? Probably 

Batman - Yeah, I am left quite impassive after reading this title. There was nothing special here. Not that there had to be, but I expected... something? Anyway, it was fine 

Abs Supes - Good Brianiac stuff, but... yeah, this was fine as well. Although a tad more "fine" that Fraction's Batman 

Ult Spidey - Oh boy! Well now, let's see what this Black Cat reveal does  

Thing - Sadly, and I hate to do this to my man Fleecs, I am off this title. The art is the THING that bother me and I just can't get past that one glaring THING

I keep hoping to get a glimpse of the old Infinity Inc, but it keeps falling short.

We Called Them Giants - Very good Gillen book.  This seemed to be headed down a familiar plot but twisted in the end.  Thumbs up! And recommended.

Local Man Vol 2 (Collects issues 6-9) - Excellent book! The fallout from last volumes reveal hits the fan and was fun to read.  Betrayal like you never expected.

Escape - A character history issue, while still pushing us forward to our goal. Yeah, enjoying this a good bit so far. 

Hellblazer - A good Chaz centered issue, which was nice and it is important, but I have had plenty of the "Let's have a Guinness or twenty and reminisce" stories and am looking forward to getting back to the magic and demons again. 

Resurrection Man - A great, though (of course) totally expected ending. This was fun and nice to see how this character's powers... or more precisely how those powers work, result in being both the end and the beginning of the story.
