So as Jeff seemed to enjoy that F.F #2 and I had a little more time to read, I asked Jeff if Doom was still center point of the FF story. I just wasn't trying to get into that. Well, before he could get back to answer my question... and I'm sure he didn't just forget about me  ;D ... but before he could answer me ;) , I just went ahead and read it.

Twilight Zone - An okay story that was very (wait for it...) Twilight Zone like  ;D and while it is nothing that I feel I need to keep up with, I have been enjoying these anthology style stories recently (especially this week), and as this series will feature stories by a different writer and artist with each of its five issues, if I have an extra borrow left by next week, I will probably give issue #2 a try.

Ice Cream Man -
33 - A FANTASTIC issue to read in panel view. The bifurcation of this issue is told beautifully in that mode as we see each side of this coin (the coin being this persons life, metaphorically speaking. Just here that is, this coin. Not in the comic, as there was no coin) Ahhh Ice Cream Man what you do to me ;D
34 - The hobos on a train issue. A good "Human nature" story with a surprise horror element (well, this is ICM, there really isn't a SURPRISE horror to anything here) The horror is not the main purpose of this one though. No, no. Nice ending. One of those rare semi-happy ones.
35- An ICM bestiary issue? Oh yes please. While most of these creatures are related more to this particular story, we do get a couple old friends highlighted. This cuckold went a little coo-coo... but he had help, yeah?  ;) (The Woman in the wallpaper was creepy AF)  ;D
36 - On the surface, another Jonah and the whale story, but basically a story about regrets that come from not telling the people you love just that. That you love them. Good side characters here as well ;D

F.F - All Jeff had to say was this was a Sue issue and I would have been all over it a lot faster  ;D Didn't read the first issue, but it wasn't a requirement to understand this one, in-fact, it may have been better for me reading this as the intro. Still worried about Dr. Doom stuff, but hoping we can avoid it as much as possible. Am I back on the F.F? Not sure. Still not an uber fan of this writer (not that he is bad, just... mackay'ish, kinda non-descript, paint by numbers story telling), but this was fun

First issue was the setup which you easily figured out reading #2.  I liked them both with #2 being the better one.

The Rocketfellers Vol 1 (Collects issues 1-6) - I liked this very family un series.  It's like the latest Lost in Space Netflix series except this family is stuck in the past.  And who doesn't like a robot dog?  Good start to a fun series.

Napalm Lullaby Vol 1 (Collects issues 1-10) - Wow. That totally took me by surprise in the end. Started out really good. Took a turn I wasn't sure I liked. Turned out to totally make sense but blew my mind.
Spoiler
And left me feeling truly sad.

The Department of Truth Vol. 6 (Collects issues #28-33 ) - I'm so ready for this to end.  I want to know how it ends so I stick around but it has drug on way too long.
