I finally got around to watching this. I needed something mindless to occupy some time on my 9 hour flight and this filled that need.

Surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting it to be. Kamala didn't annoy me near as much as i expected.  Had I not been trapped, I would have bailed at the mid way point when they landed on the planet that only communicated through singing. That was awful.  But getting past that, the movie finished decently despite a lackluster villain.

I'll give it a solid "C". Definitely not a must see but if you need to kill some time on an airplane it'll do.
