Adventureman Family Tree Vol 1 (Collects issues 1-3) - this was the back story for an adventure I don't even remember. It's probably good if you followed the series from issue to issue but I just felt lost.  I'm done.

Assorted Crisis Events Vol 1 (Collects issues 1-5) - Excellent single-issue story series. Very "Ice Cream Man" like except more sci-fi and no horror.  I can see how this would be very good reading month to month instead of collected.

Savage Sword of Conan Vol 3 (Collects issues 7-9) - I may need to switch back to single issues for Savage. They are good tales but long! I espec liked the one with Valeria at his side.

Crux #2 - I really like this issue—no surprise with Mark Waid on writing and Steve Epting's art. The introduction to the Negation has me even more excited for that upcoming series.

The First #7 - The story is finally getting clearer as I'm learning and remembering all these characters. I'm getting more invested in the series now.

Sigil #12 - Much better now that Mark Waid is writing it. The plot is moving at a stronger pace.

Scion #12 - Excellent issue with major plot advancements! The villains' plans are coming to fruition.

Meridian #12 - A fair issue—mostly setup for the next arc, which looks promising.

Uncanny X-Men #143 – The perfect Christmas re-read! Thirteen-year-old Kitty Pryde holds down the fort alone—classic holiday vibes with high stakes. I definitely miss John Byrne's art on the X-Men. (Except for Wolverine's suit... that was hideous back then, and it hasn't aged well!)

Fantastic Four #3 – A decent end to this arc, but it wasn't strong enough to keep me hooked. I'll wait for the next creative team before jumping back in.

Phoenix #15 – Even if this hadn't been the series finale, it still would've been my last issue. The final arc was terrible—such a shame, because the rest of the series was solid.

Ultimate Black Panther #20 – I'm getting bored. This series takes way too long to move through an arc. Not sure how much longer I'll stick around.

Ultimates #16 – It feels like filler while we count down the months to the big payoff, but it was an okay issue all the same.

Legion of Super-Heroes #15 – Excellent issue. The art is fantastic, especially Dawnstar, and I'm really liking Shadow Lass's new costume—a huge improvement over the recent redesign. Lots of strong setups for future stories, too.

Green Lantern #29 – I'll never say no to a Green Arrow/Green Lantern team‑up. This was a fun, well‑done one‑shot, and it reminded me how much I'd love to see the classic GL/GA series return as a regular book.

Batman/Green Arrow/The Question: Arcadia #1 (of 4) – A sharp blend of mystery and espionage with a great trio of characters. Gabriel Hardman delivers on both story and art. I'm fully in for this mini and already hoping it leads to more.
