Ult Black Panther - Have not overly enjoyed this Adamantium... story, and this just put me over the edge. I think I am done.

2000AD -  
      - Dredd - Going deeper into the prison barge, we meet Skolex. This is my favorite story once again.  
      - Red Dragon - Once again, the B&W part of this story, which I still don't know why we are getting, is the more enjoyable part of the story, but we are starting to get some X-Men vibes from the story now
     - Big Ass Sword - Not sure what to call this.. a mini one-shot? Simple, but liked the character (head) at the end
     - Void Runner - Skipped
     - Nightmare in New York - Not sure if this was a one shot or not, it had that "the end" ending, but this story wasn't in last issue, so I am confused (expected with these for now). I did come away very interested in learning more about this character and story. Looking forward to more
     -  Brass Sun - Not as thrilled by this as last time, but it's still okay. Enjoyed the gruesome temporary solution 
     - Rogue Trooper - Coming in this late on a story isn't easy, but I am starting to dig this one more as well. Just trying to remember the factions. Ha

X‑Men: Age of Revelation #0 – A prologue that really should've dropped last week. Overture sold me more than this did, but it's clearly just laying the groundwork for the event.

Amazing X‑Men #1 – An intriguing start. As the main book, this feels like where the real story beats will land.

Binary #1 – I'm in so far. Stephanie Phillips continues to write strong female leads, and this one fits right in.

Laura Kinney: Sabretooth #1 – There's enough here to keep me curious about what comes next, but it's not a great read overall.

Longshots #1* – I'm shocked I made it nine pages before tapping out on this Mojo nonsense. Not even Hellcat, Bishop, or Wonder Man could keep me invested.

World of Revelation #1 – I skimmed the first story since it was mostly prose. The cliffhanger was interesting, but the wall of text wasn't for me. The second story focused on Hulking and Wiccan, so I skipped it entirely—I can't stand those characters. The Franklin Richards story was fine.

Sojourn - Really good start, even though they put the first ten pages of Sojourn #1 in back of the prequel (making that first issue a very fast read  ) it was still a fun read. Art is pretty, not too Greg Land'y, but yeah, there is some of the copy and paste there, it wasn't as intrusive as it becomes later in his "career". And by later I mean in a few issues   

The First - Okay, an interesting (not surprising) and while I don't remember what happens, I do remember that around this time I started having some theories about characters... and those ideas were all wrong 

Crux - A powerful "opening the up the characters" issue, filled with backstory and while it slows the pace, just a tad, it is very relevant to whose these characters are and provides much appreciated character depth. Art is just so damn good. Yes, I enjoyed this a lot 

Supes Spectrum - Ha, what an "Ice Cream Man" issue. That ending? Wow. hahaha. I enjoyed this alternate universe story and hope they come back for a second round   

Cover of the Week
While I am not quite done yet (I did look at the covers of the comics I've left to read) I can say that while there is nothing epically bad, cover wise this week, there is also nothing special. But still, the cover that hit my eyes the best as an "I want to read that" is

Avengers #167 – A lot to enjoy here, even with the dated dialogue. You get the original Guardians of the Galaxy, my favorite era of the Avengers, and even the Porcupine. All of it brought to life in peak George Pérez art. Loved it.

Return to Planet Hulk #1 – Turns out this is just a one‑shot celebrating the 20th anniversary of Planet Hulk. Hard to believe it's really been two decades; it still feels like a recent event. The story itself is a solid nod back to the original—nothing groundbreaking, but a nice wink at a time when comics felt truly epic.

Marvel Knights: Punisher #1 (of 4) – Brutal in all the right ways. This feels like the start of a strong, hard‑hitting story. I wasn't sold on the art at first, but it really grew on me, and it ends up fitting the tone of this kind of Punisher tale perfectly.

Absolute Flash #10 – Back to the weirdness, but still cool. Everything's tightening up now, and it feels like we're racing toward a big finale.

SUPERMAN: THE KRYPTONITE SPECTRUM #5 (OF 5) – A pretty good ending to a super bizarre story. Perry was right: the finale feels like something straight out of Ice Cream Man, and that's absolutely a compliment. I ended up enjoying this quite a bit.

Sojourn Prequel – Oh yeah, I'm in for this title. The story is immediately compelling, and opening with events from 300 years ago pulled me right in. This is going to be fun.

Sojourn #1 – A great first issue. Strong setup for the antagonist's origin and motivation, and I'm already a big Arwyn fan even though we're just getting started. The villain looks creepy as all get‑out, which is exactly what I want from this series.

Sojourn #2 – This has officially become my favorite CrossGen book. I didn't want this issue to end, and then it wrapped with even more mystery that has my brain buzzing. I think I've got a theory about who Arwyn really is, and I'm eager to see how it all plays out.

Rook - This is getting good. Loved the new character and the fear involved 

Sacrificers - Wow, I can't say anything here as everything I can say would probably be a spoiler. Ha. I will just say... I really enjoyed the beginning of this interesting new arc

Geiger - The feeling that I usually have after read this... that the story is just running in place, wasn't nearly as strong with this issue. I felt forward movement. YAY   

Arcana Royale - A Cullen Bunn story about magic and poker. It was okay, glad to have read it, but not sure I would go back.

Actually my first issue. I missed issue one at my store, and I LOVED THIS book right away. The details on the weapons, armor, scenery, hey, Land took his time on that too!

Abso Flash - so weird, to me, that this book is on the same world as the other Abso books. But I'm enjoying the differences here!

World's Finest 46 - a Dan Mora-esque artist that has gotten better, I find the book still has the magic of a Team Up book of the 60s or 70s.

Wonder Woman 28 - Tom King is making his WW work a statement of work in the body he's produced. I really have enjoyed where it all has gone, for sure!

Superman Unlimited 8 - Lucas Meyer! I'm going to keep an eye out for this name. I liked his look on the book

DC KO 3 -what's up with changing the format, Dark heart! Cheater! LOL, 2 issues from the end, it's okay!

The World to Come 3 - I gotta get out and buy these issues! I love this!!

Imperial Guardians 1 - Carol was a b!tch, but a really good issue. Guardians are always good by me! As long as Bendis is gone from them

Blood Squad - Another Image Comics reimagining. Similar to the way Local Man brought some fun with Image comics in the 90's, this does the same, but in a very different manner. This plot is based on an actual Image title, Youngblood. But now as Rob Liefeld got mad, grabbed up his toys and went home, Image is setting the team up again, but with different characters essentially (although some are very, very similar ) Good stuff. I will be adding v2

Power Fantasy - This is well written, but man it gets political. Not in a "your side is wrong" way, although the two or three main characters would beg to differ  It is... picture if 6 Omni-level Mutants actually existed. How would that be for the general public. Not too good.
