Daredevil & Punisher #5 - Good end to a good mini series.
MOONSTAR #1 (OF 5) - it's more Asgardy than mutant. I'm out.
X-MEN #26 - Am I supposed to know who the villain at the end of the book is? Seems like they were going for a big reveal, but I don't know who she is. But her best laid traps are quite interesting. Good start to a new arc.
X‑Men Annual #1 – Total bait‑and‑switch. This is really an Uncanny X‑Men annual, not an X‑Men annual like the cover claims. I gave it a fair shot but only made it about a quarter of the way through. It's just not very good. Feel free to skip it.
NOVA: CENTURION #5 - Well I think five issues is more than a fair share try. After reading this issue, I'm out.
No new Marvel for me this week and I was going to try that Barbara Gordon book, but saw a preview of the pages and I think I will skip it afterall.

FURY OF FIRESTORM #2 (OF 6) - Excellent issue! Always good to get a refresher on the origin and Lemire knows how to spin this tale.

Judge Dredd - Great villains in this story. Can't wait for Dredd to catch up to them!
Herne & Shuck - The End!? With a cliffhanger! But the quest did end nicely...sort of!

Sigil #25 - Really good issue focusing on the Sauron rebellion. Excellent storytelling.
Sigil #26 - Lot of filler on this issue. Whole thing should have been in three or four pages.
Sojourn #10 - oh yeah! Great issue with vengeance all over the place,
Sojourn #11 - Good wrap up to the battle at the castle. This is a really good series.

M.A.S.K. #1... Reminds me a lot of the old cartoon series. Fun and mildly interesting. Not sure if I like a shared universe with GI Joe, Transformers, MASK, and Void Rivals. Meh.

Fury of Firestorm #2 & 3... the art is growing on me. I can see from the last issue how is adds to the story. LOVE Firehawk. She needs a solo story. It's the midpoint issue and I still can't figure out the end or where he/they go next. I would LOVE an ongoing series, but the face mask is vibing Tomorrow Man. Is this a new trend?
Absolute Catwoman #1... surprisingly AMAZING! Best feature is that she's not tied to Batman/Bruce. Totally a solo series and independent. The Holly/Harley coincidence is too obvious. I am totally onboard for this ride.

A fantastic turnaround. I went in thinking this might be my last Conan read—what was I thinking. This volume absolutely delivers. The story finally leans into the question every fan has had: how does Conan become a king? Big, bold, and surprisingly invigorating.
Exquisite Corpses Vol. 2
More assassinations, more tension, more everything. The drama cranks up to eleven as innocent bystanders get caught in the crossfire, and the book keeps twisting in sharp, satisfying ways. A gripping, high‑stakes continuation with plenty of surprises.

I am so happy to hear this. I'm enjoying Firestorm as well and wishing it was an ongoing. And I'm really looking forward to Absolute Catwoman!
Well, I think I could've made it through this week's list, and I still may... but the week-end, so far, has not been very cooperative.
Plus, Jeff (rightfully so) talked me into reading the four issue Legion/Supes crossover that answered a very important question about the Crisis Wave and Superboy, so that added to my lateness. :) ;D

Abs Bat - Great art in this one, I think Dragotta had more time to put into this one. A really good issue
Abs Martian Manhunter - Just.... yeah... so Eisner worthy. Love this series
Firestorm - Speaking of Absolute... I absolutely enjoyed this issue. Not a lot happens, but a nice refresher origin story with a little spice added.
LoSH - Did they perfectly wrap up the conundrum or paradox of Superboy not being a part of the Legion after Crisis? Yes and no. They did the best they could, I think, especially at the time, and while I can't say they answered the problem perfectly, it was, for the most part, an answer that I can convince myself has been answered. But like Jimbo mentioned, I just can't think about Supergirl and the rest of the Super cast and I can't let myself dive too deep into the answer provided. Still, good job on them and thanks for suggestion, Jeff

Exquisite Corpses - The arena grows smaller and the kills get more intense. Ha. Good stuff. I did hate to see one character meet his demise (actually two characters, if you count one of the killers I was hoping to see more of) and I do wish this was just written by Tynion, but at the same time, I do enjoy the different voices guided us along.
