DEADMAN #1 (OF 6) - I hated this. The art was good but the story is awful. I'm out.

Iron Man - Modok is one of thos characters that if I see him, and I am in the right mood, I love him. I loved him last issue, this issue he was just "fine". I will say however, that I initially was worried about the "idea" of this book's first arc, not that it was bad, but I didn't see it being something that I would enjoy. Wellllll... Okay, I'm in  :)

Punisher - It's fine, but I think the art is carrying most of the lifting for me. I Am not sure if I only like Garth Ennis' Punisher, or if I, once again, am not enamored with Percy's but, yeah, it's okay. I think it is going to have to hit a lot harder next issue or I may be gone after the "3 issue try"  :(

Ultimate End Game - Ugh, what the hell are you doing Camp? I know you can do better than this. Did editorial screw you up? I sure as hell hope so  ???

Deadman - This was not the Deadman I know, but... BUT, it is a pretty decent enough Ice Cream Man comic. Much like the last Superman comic by this team, although that read a lot better from the jump, if you just think of this as an I.C.M title, like a DC Earth 2 (Scoops ;D ) it reads much better. So yeah, I agree with Jeff that it isn't the Deadman we know, but... I like that for this team. Looking forward to seeing what the team does here.  8)

JSA - Why oh why can't Jeff Lemire write a damn DC proper comic? I've literally never seen anything like it. I love his creator stuff, love it. Love the way the characters work, the way the deal with each other (or don't deal with each other), love the scripts, the plots, the dialog, but put that same man at DC and it's just not good. All that said I am pulling a Jeff here. Ha, got sucked into the last page of #20 so I will be back for at least one more issue.  ;D

Gotham MF'ing Central - Absolutely... and as this is DC, I will say there is no Absolute pun implied ;D ... but I'm absolutely loving this. It is "Criminal" but featuring cops instead of cons, with the occasional Batman family member appearance? Not sure why I waited so long to read (mostly for the first time) this series. I've read issue before but I came in late originally, and wasn't on the title for long. This is going to be a blast!!!  8) 8) 8)

PLANET SHE-HULK #5 - Great issue! This has been a really good series and this was probably the best issue so far.  One of Marvels few gems these days.

THE SENTRY #1 (OF 4) - Pretty good start for this mini.  I like it.

ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #15 - Bit of a side story but heading toward the final battle with Magik.

ULTIMATES #22 - Predictable ending.  Way too wordy unnecessarily.  Otherwise an ok issue.

ULTIMATE ENDGAME #3 (of 5) - Oof. That was awful. Not even the tear jerk moment could draw me in.

The First #20 - definitely got to go back to reading more than one issue at a time. So many characters to keep track of.  Good issue though.

Crossgen Chronicles #7 (Negation) - Origin of Kaine. Not bad but I'm ready for the main story.

Negation #6 - And I'm not disappointed. Another good issue and I'm psyched withe cliffhanger!

Ruse #8 - Good end to this two parter.  Were they vampires or not? Now we know.

WADE WILSON: DEADPOOL #2 -I'm sticking around for this arc. This has an interesting premise id like to see play out.

X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE #3 (OF 4) - pretty disappointed in this but gonna read the last issue just to see how it ends.

INGLORIOUS X-FORCE #3 - Another name off the list, leaving only one left to be the traitor. But it is it ever that easy? Fun series so far.

THE PERIL OF THE BRUTAL DARK AN EZRA CAIN MYSTERY #4  (OF 6) - More answers leading to more questions. I'm liking this mystery.

Little Bird #1&2 - I'm torn. On the surface it's a good story and has great art. But I hate the unnecessary placement of the Christian church in such a blasphemous manner. Kills my enjoyment for the book.

2000 AD Prog 2475: Edge of the World
Judge Dredd - Nice ending.  Too bad I won't be around to see if the dangling threads come back around.
Future Shocks - these were fun little one shots.
The Discarded - Good ending and great twist.

2000 AD Prog 2476: Out in Force! - Last one!
Judge Dredd - went ahead and read this part 1 of the new arc. Sounds like it'll be a good one but this was the last issue of my temporary subscription.  It's been fun!

I can... understand that from your point of view, I do. I took it is more directly pointing to Roman Catholicism in particular, more than the Christian faith as an entirety, but I can and do understand.
And I am not even saying that what I am going with IS what it was about, but that is how it hit for me. Even still, from a Christian standpoint I could understand the struggle, but as my step-dad, the Southern Baptist Deacon once told me (on many an occasion... though tongue firmly in cheek)...
"Those Roman Catholics got a different way of thinking and doing".  ;)

With that in mind I guess it is a little easier for me to not put the two under the same umbrella, even though they are, of course, intertwined. I loved the book and the "follow-up", but I do have a much different take on religion, and especially the religious iconography catagory

Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #3 - A twenty five page story they somehow drug out to 44 pages.  Still the new hero group introduced at the end could be interesting.

ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #20 - I'm glad this arc is over but I really liked this twist at the end that will set who knows what chaos from here on out!

DETECTIVE COMICS #1109 - Really good chapter in this Green Arrow/Batman/Black Canary team-up.  Jeff recommends!

Yes they are but the way these people talk about Jesus specifically is what turned my stomach.  I'm hoping it tempers out as I'm going to finish the series.  The hero characters really pull you in and the art is perfect for this story.

ROGUE #3 (OF 5) - glad I stuck with this so far. Been much better than the start of that first issue.

PSYLOCKE: NINJA #3 (OF 5) this is only making me miss the days when Betsy was Psylocke. This is a really good book.

WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF ARMAGEDDON #2 (of 4) - an ok issue. Never was a fan of Nuke but next issues final fight should be fun.
