Didn't notice it after reading the first issue last week, but the further I go into Ribbon Queen, the further it reminds me of another (totally different) story that I (and I think Jeff?) read a few years ago. About a couple of detectives that... well... can't remember the why's and how's, but the detectives end up getting trapped/lost in this weird self-storage or warehouse location, with lots of turns and corners, and the one cop loses his mind, either from being trapped inside this building for what seems to be years or from an outside force or some spooky specter (to quote Shaggy from Scooby-Doo) and kills himself? Or the specter makes it look like he kills himself? I can't remember the story, obviously  :D and not sure if it was Warren Ellis or Ennis or Bunn or whomever and not even sure about the publisher, for some reason I am thinking it was Avatar Press, but I can't reconcile how Jeff would have read it as I am not sure he bought Avatar back then, so... maybe I am wrong on him reading that thing that reminds me of this thing, even though this thing is different?  ;D
Either way, I'm enjoying this one. I do like an evil/revenge spirit  :)
