There's more He-Man? Or is that the old volume from DC?!

There's more He-Man? Or is that the old volume from DC?!

It wraps up a four issue mini-series. New material on the origin and relationship between Skeletor and Hordak.

Legion - Not back to being terrible, but not quite as "not bad" as the first part of this. I am just counting down the issues for Conway's departure from this title.

Void Rivals - There is a lot of good stuff here, I like the connections with the properties (not spoiling anything if there is anyone that is not aware of those very connections) and I liked the tease of what happens when the two [gems] touched, but at the same time, I just don't care for anyone here. I do like the Proxima character, but... yeah, this is just okay.

Legion of Super-Heroes (1980) 262 - wasn't sure what I would think of Jim Sherman's art in this issue but ultimately I liked it.  It was very different but fun to look at for the most part.  The one shot story wasn't bad either.  All in all I liked this issue.  maybe Gerry Conway had a turn and got better?

Injection Vol 3 - Wow! This turned out to be my favorite one of the series.  At first I was thinking it was just a normal arc and I was having a decent time following along. But when the crap suddenly hit the fan in the third issue I was completely sucked in and had to finish it. Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey have spun one heck of a fun story.

Iron Fist - Ha, well, an odd little story introducing us to the plant life on K'Un-Lun. And by plant life I mean live plants... the H'ylthri. Yeah, they are not well known, but man are they pissed. I guess the temple landed on the realm and pretty much took over. Not sure if they show up outside of this title (and Pwer-Man and Iron Fist #75.. one of my all time favorite issues) but after seeing the female Badoon in the Defenders last week, and then this all leaf covered life-form, I can tell the Bullpen Borrowing was in full swing. Haha

Mystic - Just opening this brought back so many good memories. most associated with CrossGen, but I even got some Perez nostalgia seeing the "eyes in the sky" again. As for the issue's main goal, not reminding me of how much I love Perez in the 70's and 80's, this was a good introduction to the main characters and I had fun with it. Marvel did goof by me adding this to their digital library, I hope they do even better and add the rest of the CrossGen stuff... I really do.

I finally got the Zero Hour 30th Anniversary Special #1 delivered (eBay purchase) and loved it. Great time bending story with Waverider and the Legion of Super-Heroes. The only thing I did not like was the new artist every three or four pages. Distracting in parts and absolutely ugly in others. A great issue overall, though.
