Fans seemed to love this concept of parallel DC Universes. Soon there were many different parallel universes in DC Comics, not just Earth-1 & Earth-2. Known universes of the time include: After years of the DC Multiverse, DC Editors felt there were too many alternate universes and characters to keep up with and that it was getting confusing for fans. A being known as the Monitor combated this evil by recruiting heroes across the Multiverse to fight him.
