Since there's no video game thread, I figured:

So are you guys playing anything right now?

I'm still in the middle of finishing up Persona 3 Reload... and for some unexplainable reason, I've decided to finally try out the first Assassin's Creed on the XB360.  That on is defintely going to take some forcing on my part to get through... shit, just the loadtimes alone is driving me crazy.  Got spoiled by that ultra-quick PS5 loadtime speeds. lol.

Man I haven't played around on our PS4 in ages!  My daughter plays Fortnite but I'm a bit out of touch on video games these days.

Yeah... Aside from Persona, there hasn't been anything "completely" new that has really captured me.  Alot of remastered/remakes (I'm so tempted to play Horizon Zero Dawn again now that they've remastered it), but nothing NEW NEW.

Astro Bot is Nintendo-hard if you're looking for a 3D mascot platformer.  It was wonderful... a loveletter to the history of PlayStation... but it's lack of story keeps it out of GOtY contendership for me.

The last game that had me dreaming about its world was Sea of Stars.  Its an oldschool turnbased RPG that plays like Chrono Trigger.  That game got it's claws in me that I just couldn't wait to come back to it every day until I finished it.  Then I was sad that I finished it because that meant I was done playing it.  lol.

With the Nintendo sub, I'm off to the Game Boy Advance to play an oldie I never got to -Metroid Zero!!!

Man... Metroid Zero is so good.  Maybe I'll try and fit that into my rotation of games and play it again.
