Carrying over a couple from last week that I didn't finish, but should be able to get through this week's list as it is another small one.

Marvel Unlimited
Ultimates #4
Immortal Thor #15
Avengers (1977) #159
Avengers (1977) #160

DC Universe Ultra
Absolute Batman #2
Action Comics #1075

Legion of Super-Heroes #277

Hoopla
Roth OGN
Public Domain v1 (issues 1-5)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4
Conan: Battle of Black Stone #4

***********************************************************************

Conan - Just when I was getting tired of this event, they push the end here and knock it out of the park with that last page. As an old-head Conan fan, that blew me away. Of course your results may vary.  ;D

Roth - Overall, not a bad borrow, about a wendigo in the north and what he must face to retain, or regain, his humanity, but I was enamored with the art, over the story itself. Still, a pretty good waste of time  ;)

Legion - Whoa boy! What junk. I know Roy Thomas wrote this off a Conway plot, but I don't remember Thomas ever being this bad at writing. But hey, it has been years since a sat and read a Thomas book, I know I loved his Marvel stuff, but at the time I was a lot younger so maybe I was wearing rose colored glasses?
Spoiler
Lots of stuff wrong in this issue, but the biggie for me, was putting in that Tinya was taught, like most legionnaires, to hole her breath. But why would she need to? When she is intangible she wouldn't need to do that. She has been in space before without a helmet, yeah? I think? Anyway, in here we also get Reflecto and oh boy do I remember that crazy ass stuff. Well, actually, I only remember some of it, not how or if the stuff involving him was finalized. Can't wait for that. And of course, ugh, I am not a fan of Grimbor nor this totally stupid chains around the world shit. Haha

:o

Thor - Just when I am getting tired of the very ancient Norse lore and all that goes with it, I get this issue. Pretty good.
Spoiler
And "I am interested in seeing how this belt thig plays out" is something I never thought I would say.

:)

Ultimates - One of Jimbo's favorites on art duties here, but I am a fan of Noto so I was happy to see him here. The story was very well written and actually pretty emotional for me, as far as I ever get, that is. I didn't cry or anything, hahaha, but I did get a little "feels" about it. That is about "emotional" as I ever get, so that is a biggie for me with this title.

Immortal Thor 15 - Like Perry I was about done with this title after the wrap up of this arc.  But the next arc is very promising so I guess I'll be back for more!

Blue Book Volume 2: 1947 - While the first volume was a heartfelt  story  of one couple and their interactions with UFO, this volume went a different direction and is a history of the UFO craze in America from 1947-1980.  Still a good book but reads more like a documentary.  I enjoyed the first volume more.  If you're a history buff of UFO reported sightings, check this out.

Ice Cream Man Vol 8 - Almost didn't want to finish because it's so unsettling and depressing. Which is normal for this book just not something I'm in the mood for.  But then a surprise at the end that made it all ok.  Turned into one of the better Ice Cream Mans.

Ultimates 4 - I'll call it now: Book of the week.  And yes, I know Absolute Batman comes out tomorrow but it will take a LOT to beat this. Great storytelling. Great emotion. Great art. A perfect 5 out of 5 tragedies.

Ha, forgot to change out the older Marvel's that I had read when I copied over my list from last week. DOH!!! I went to mark off the latest one I read and seeing the older ones screwed with my head for a second... or ten.
:o  ;D
Also, Jeff got me thinking about reading the older Hellblazer again, so I added the first one onto my list. It has been years since I read Delano's stuff (which I think his stuff is fine, though not my favorite) but dang it if I hadn't been thinking about it since Jeff added it to his. I may not get to it this week, but...

Avengers - Funny seeing Beast take the reigns as resident Avengers costume designer, instead of Janet, making Simon "Wonder Man" Williams new costume and love how he used all of Visions colors, but I think he should leave the designs to Janet from now on. Ha! Great seeing how Ultron, once again, works through Ant-Man (who is really starting to lose his shit around this time) and leaves us with the ultimate Avengers bad guy doing his thing.

Action Comics - Yeah, this is fine. Nothing blowing me away, nothing making me mad, it's just... here. I'm still on, but if I didn't know Waid was leaving soon, I don't think I would be staying.

Absolute Bats - Haven't been this excited about a cape since Spawn  ;D ;D Just enjoying the hell out of most of this, although I did roll my eyes at
Spoiler
the elevator turning into a huge batmobile. How did this guy with no money work that into the building construction? And even if he did, why?

I mean, yeaaaahhhhh
Snyder going a little too Batman here I think

Marvel Unlimited

Immortal Thor 14 & 15 - cool issues! So very Dungeons & Dragons like, and with plenty of Marvel mythic godly stuff! The belt reminds me of the belt and power armor Thor had once upon a time when he fought the Celestials in "I, Whom the Gods would Destroy" by Priest!

Ultimates 3 & 4 - Such sad, poignant issues. I feel terrible for what the Maker did! But issue 4...just...what a MAGNIFICENT ISSUE!!

DC ULTRA

Legion of Superheroes 278-279 -I just had to know the end of the Reflecto & Grimbor storylines :D
Absolute Batman 2 - Keep it going on, baby!
Penguin Special 1 - As I've said before, I think the Penguin is the most terrifying of Batman's Rogues. I mean, Joker is the most dangerous, I guess, but crossing the Penguin just brings the end of everything and everyone around you before you go. I have no idea how things are supposed to go with the Penguin knowing Batman is Bruce Wayne.
Green Lantern 17 - OH this is so cool! Big cosmic action! I love villains being expounded upon and created in the manor that Valaros and Thaarios have been! I'm excited for all this and more!!
Green Arrow Annual 1 -aw, got me in the feels. Really liked this, as I believe this is Williamson's last GA issue. Very good for me.
Action 1075 - I, ME, still really enjoy this! Neener neener to any who say otherwise!  ;D  :P

hoopla

TMNT 2 & 3 -Aaron's stuff. I like it. Now I just need to read the 150 issues that came before this new resetting/relaunch. :D

Ha, that will be a quick read. I would, at some point, like to go back and read the last 100 or so I missed myself, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I did read about 5 or 6 issues in the 120's or 130s range, lots of new characters (and species... other than turtles, which was both weird and interesting) that almost had me gong back and reading more older issues, if for nothing else to find out more about what the heck was going on, ha, but of course, never did.

Green Lantern - Dang it!! I thought this was going to be the end of the arc, but noooooo. I'm not complaining, I am having a good time, just want to see the next chapter as I have a feeling that there is going to be a mass reduction of Lanterns after this is all said and done. Also hope

If you come back to this; Rodney; have you read this title from the start? I hated the art, and once I saw a different name on issue 14, I've added it to my saved list. Haven't read it though!

You liking the title?

Gay Titan

I have been reading it off and on from the beginning. I am not a fan of Damian but this is a decent book. You're right about the art but the stories are entertaining enough.
