Immortal Thor 19 - A solo story setting up things for the next big arc. And I'm not interested in.  It's been fun but I'm out for now.

Rogue: The Savage Land 1 - Fun book for someone who loved this time of the X-Men after their travel through the Siege Perilous.  Love seeing Rogue and Magneto back together in the Savage Land!  The story itself I'm unsure of but the nostalgia is why I'm here.

Ultimate Wolverine 1 - Loved this! Chris Condon is writing a heck of Wolverine in this Ultimate universe.  This will be the real Ultimate X-Men!

Ultimate Wolverine - Pretty good first issue, though the art is not its strong point, at all. That said, the art does seem to be a tad better than what he had done on Moon Knight, it is a little looser, which gives it more of a Bill Sienkiewicz feel, so it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Still, this is going to be rough on the eyes for me, I just don't like this artist, but I think the brain will be mostly enjoying it. 

Thor - Wasn't going to read this, but I gave it a go. I am not a fan of Thor's son, any part of it, but damn if I aint the littlest bit intrigued by

That said, I still do remember the art from the previous issues prior to this artist'fest issue, and it still very much bothers me. I say, like Jeff, I am also out, but I said that for the last two months so... who knows?

Slamming through my DC this week.

Also added the new'ish Youngblood #1 revamp, now written by... crap... I forgot... Casey? Maybe?... how about this... now written by someone other than Rob or one of his cronies. The art will still be laughable (it is Rob Liefeld after all), but I remember really, really, really wanting that issue to be good when it first hit and so I am hoping I finally get the story I wanted. Even if it is twenty-three years later

Absolute Manhunter - This one may cause some division. I personally loved it, but mainly because I am a huge fan of Javier Rodriguez's art. Javier also doing the colors was somewhat important to this issue, using color to guide us and show hints to where we were probably heading with this "Jones" guy. Yeah, liked this one, but I can also understand how people may feel this title went a little too far artistically.

Absolute W.W - Art by de Iuliess was amazing. With its soft edges and almost animation cell style, similar to Baldeon (sorry Jimmy) it was beautiful. Love Hades here and oh yeah....

Last Halloween - Hmmm... just not hitting with the same punch as the original. I think I am going to bow out now. Sadly. This makes me a little nervous about H2sh now

Canary - Other than a couple panels of momma/child talk, which was good, not saying it wasn't... and a little whisper in an ear  this could have easily fell into the category of Tom King once again stretching the title to too many issues, but I got just enough advancement and good stuff to make the story worth it. Not as good as last issue, but hoping it lands the ending with the next, last, issue

Hellblazer - The Demon revealed and we find out he also possessed a certain doctor from the East End of London back in 1888. A certain guy named Jack 

Legion - My word what a long freaking read and, as far as "anniversary issues" go, meh. On a side note - I do wonder what outrage "that" change would cause today?

I remember buying that issue of Legion and thinking $1.50 was alot of money to spend on a comic.
Now I am happy diving into the dollar bins.

Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees TPB - Great book! If you're a fan of the series Dexter then you must pick this up!  Once I got stated I couldn't put it down.

ABSOLUTE MARTIAN MANHUNTER #1 (OF 6) - Very very weird. But I liked it.  Not sure it belongs in the Absolute universe but I'll keep reading.

BATMAN #158 - First issue of Loeb & Lee's Hush 2.  I liked it. Definitely feels old school and is gonna be fun.

Superman 24 - WOW. Wasn't expecting any of what I didn't expect to occur! Nice to see Eddy Barrows draw again!

Absolute Wonder Woman 6 - Loved it. Great issue. Awesome art fill in

Absolute Martian Manhunter - tripped out and cool. I kind of wish this was the actual origin and something for our J'onn to actual refer to as his origin

Batman 158 - first part of Hush! So sketched out looking; I think I would have liked a harder line on the inking, to be honest. I'm here to see why or how this is going on!

Green Lantern 21 - I love Kyle's "Super-team" as its called. I enjoy some classic Kon! I had wondered how long it was going to take before

ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #6 - Excellent new story.  Loved the interactions with gods. And the fill in artist was good.

BLACK CANARY: BEST OF THE BEST #5 (OF 6)  EXCELLENT PENULTIMATE ISSUE.  The tension builds superbly leading us to what will be a great finale next issue.

GREEN ARROW #22 - much better than last issue so it's keeping me around to see how it ends.

I looked for Captain Planet #1 from Dynamite, but couldn't find it.

Nightwing #121-125... Finally sat down and read everything from this year. LOVED the Cirque du Sin and the gang war between the Teddies and the Flyboyz. I was really frustrated with the end of #124. Two great reveals and then #125 starts a new arc with no connection or reference.

Superman #23 & 24... I randomly read this title and it's still great. Superwoman paired with the Creeper was fun. I was able to get the Summer special and looking forward to reading it.

Legion of Super-Heroes #300 - Big anniversary issue. I remember this from '83 when I thought we were going to get a certain Legionnaire back, or at least a replacement. I was bummed it wasn't meant to be. But it was a good story even if Shadow Lass' new look was horrible!

GREEN LANTERN #21 - Gross! But I like the team ups. The Kyle, Conner, Odyssey team especially.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: UNLIMITED #5 - The beginning of the crossover with Worlds Finest. I'm still not a fan of this book but Mark Waid could do some fun with these villains.

PEACEMAKER PRESENTS: THE VIGILANTE/EAGLY DOUBLE FEATURE #1 - I'm torn. The Vigilante story wasn't my cup of tea but the Peacemaker and Eagly story wasn't.  Decisions, decisions.

Superman 24 - Yeah. That was all right.  I'll checkout the anniversary issue but I doubt I'll be here after that.

Summer of Superman Special 1 - oh never mind. Looks like I'll be reading a lot of Superman this summer!

Hey Kids Comics! The Schlock of the New Vol 3 - Took me all day to read but was worth it.  A good end to the series as this volume focuses on the fans who grew up to be creators. Including Chaykin himself.
