Doctor Doom & Rocket Raccoon 1 - Fun little one shot.  Just watching Doom and Rocket banter is what makes this comic fun.

TVA 1 - Not bad. I'm not sure whether or not I'm in or not yet. The characters include Spider-Gwen, Captain Britain Peggy Carter and other multiverse characters.  Kind of like Exiles but with an HQ.  I can see this going either way so I'll see how issue 2 goes.

Mystic 25 - a good one shot issue with a new villain.  Excellent.

Legion of Super-Heroes #301 - another good story from the Legion days.  Chameleon Boy spotlight!

Legion of Super-Heroes Annual #2 - Fun time travel story with the wedding of Karate Kid and Projectra as a backdrop.  I'm guessing the origin of the Greek gods went away with crisis on infinite earths.

Not sure what's in my pull yet, but Saturday is Free Comic Book Day. Looking forward to snagging some fun stuff.

TVA 2 - I'm in. The mystery is interesting and having the characters from the Loki TV series is kind of fun.

Ultimate Spider-Man 13 - Excellent issue! Finally some good ole fashioned villainy to fight!

Uncanny X-Men 9 - ugh the art was terrible this issue.  But the story was good. Really felt like an old Claremont X-Men story.  Good character interactions.  I'm even starting to like the new kids.

Saga 72 - OH YEAH! Big moves in this last issue of the current arc.  I predict an end to the slow character only tales and massive adventures a coming!

Redcoat 11 - YES! Also an exciting start to what will be a big important arc.  I'm looking forward to what happens here!

Moving really fast this week.  It's only Monday!

Mystique 4 - the search continues and is fun. I like wall the times Mystique impersonates other heroes. Thumbs up.

Phoenix 7 - Jean finally takes on Thanos and the Black Order! Good round 1.

WOLVERINE: REVENGE #4 (OF 5) - nice cliffhanger and fun new villains. Gonna be a crazy ending.

Jimmy T

I gotta play catch up!

MARVEL

THOR 19 - okay, I did actually like all the little vignettes about current events and what's coming soon. I'm pumped!
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 66 - I read a bit more of this one. I'm intrigued about Peter's ennui
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN 13 - yes! Events occurring! And moving forward!! wahoo!!
UNCANNY X-MEN 9 - Actually I did dig the slowed down piece of American life for this team and people. The dogs remind me of the Hunt storyline back when there was Young X-men title.

hoopla

REDCOAT 11 - yeah! I think Redcoat is my favorite title. Really like the work Hitch is doing here, and I'm stoked on the events happening and developing here!
SAGA72 - well, 32 total issues left in the series. Things are gonna change -and change BIG

DC COMICS

NIGHTWING 124 - just not my favorite, but an okay read. It actually reads like a 90s title. I hate comic moments where the writer writes them as 'tough' or 'more than an man' can take moments...into stupid realms.Dick losing half his body's blood, and still crime fighting is so fucking dumb. He wouldn't be able to stand, let alone have blood pressure. It's just my moment, but its what took me out.
Batman & Robin Year One 6 - An issue I really dug! Yeah, great attitude from Dick. and love the 'dad' talk!
BLACK CANARY 5 - oh, cool issue1 I'm with jeff, I really got more and more into the fights the last 2 issues. Really looking forward to the end!
WONDER WOMAN 19 - I have enjoyed this volume so much. I believe I need a reread from 1-19, because its basically one whole story, done. leading to the next
GREEN ARROW 22 - it just felt....not like Ollie, not like Arrow. the bit with Ollie and the cops, doing a dumb Bruce Wayne like impression, really bugged me. It suddenly felt like this was some kind of soft reboot of mythos? Its like I suddenly turned against the title.

got my hoopla borrows all set for the end of the month. Ready for Wednesday; bring on good comics time!!

ABSOLUTE GREEN LANTERN #1 - Good first issue. My only complaint is they don't tell you the girls name.  Who is she supposed to be? Otherwise an excellent start.

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #6 - Great issue!  Loved the continuation of the origin.  This book is getting better and it was already good.

JSA #6 - Finally a story powerful enough to overcome the art.  This is the JSA I wanted.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE ATOM PROJECT #4 (OF 6) - Another decent issue.  This mini has been good and this issue brings things to a head.

E-Ratic 2: Recharged - Excellent sequel!! I really wish Jimmy could read these two volumes. This book is so up his alley.  It's what Spider-man would be if he had been invented today.  High school super heroes never have it easy.

Continuing on...

ABSOLUTE GREEN LANTERN 1 - I enjoyed this big start. A much different take, and reading the back matter, the rules of the GL mythos are not known, and certainly not the same. Very much on display. I don't care for the art. Not a great first impression on me.

JSA 6 - Okay, Jeff is right. The story is finally part of the way I want to read JSA. I know that the Injustice Society was messing with the heads of all the JSA members, and I'm glad to see that being addressed here.

ATOM PROJECT 4 - Yeah, the 2 story parts finally coming together makes this a really good read. And one helluva an issue & revelation! Love it!

ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN 6 - I need the next issue right now. Is it here yet? I so loved reading this. I just want Kal to have a break and find some kind of love from some one!

SUPERMAN THE LAST DAYS OF LEX LUTHOR 2 - I loved this issue. I may buy this once it's all done and finally collected. I'm adoring reading this Superman story Waid is telling. Being Black Label, ti's simply a 'Superman' story.

Adventure Comics (1968) #369 & 370 - Fun jaunt down 60's Legion lore and a classic fight with Mordru.  Not sure how this will fit into Waids vision for DC's future but it was definitely a fun read!

************************************************************

Two-in-One - Yeah, the major selling point, at least for me... when I was 11 or so... was that I could get a new character teaming up with another of my favorite characters each month. This and the Spidey co-starring "Team-up" title were always the first thing I checked the spinner rack for whenever I got the chance and it was mainly to see characters I may not know as well as others. Yes, that is what I kept coming back for. It certainly wasn't the writing, at least not what I found in this issue. Holy hell this is a stinker. a 30's style Mobster and a Ben Grimm from another dimension along side THE Captain Marvel sounds really interesting. It wasn't.

Amazing - Peter gets good news, being exonerated for the death of Norman Osborn, and is enjoying people singing his praise, but that doesn't last long as the (laughably dressed) Chameleon sets him up by getting Peter, as Spidey, to punch him, but Chameleon quickly disguising himself as an old lady and now the people think Spider-Man just punched a senior. So much for good will.

Legion - An enjoyable issue, other than once again having to listen to heroes bitch and moan about about who the team leader or second chair leaders are and why. Wah-Wah-Wah.

Hellblazer - Jack the Ripper's, or the demon Calabraxis, history comes more into light as the confrontation with John moves closer. Enjoyable arc.

Resurrection Man - Came into this cold, not knowing much about this character (I tried an issue or two once but remembered NOTHING about it, not surprising anyone I'm sure) but I really enjoyed it. It is certainly more on the Hellblazer side of DC, but that is fine with me. Enjoyed how his "power" works as well.

JSA - Growing accustomed to the art, which still amazes me, but I have also enjoyed the story more in the last two issues. That's good because I was really close to being out on this title

Absolute Supes - Yep, others have said it and I will echo it... really digging this title. Most of what I hear, is this title is the third most pulled and/or enjoyed, and I also used to prescribe to that, but over the last two months this title has slid into second, overtaking the Abso Batman title

Absolute GL - The sixth Abso title and... I am not sure if I place this above The Flash (currently the least favorite of mine) or not. My main problem with the Abso Flash title was that the story could have easily been told in a regular Flash title. I enjoyed the story, but it didn't feel like it was in the same universe as the other Abso stuff. This one does feel like its in the right place, but... yeah, I think I will still put this GL title in the last spot for me... for now, even though I did enjoy it.

Green Lantern - I think I made the mistake of reading the Absolute GL before reading this GL because this GL felt a little on the boring side. Seems like we've been here so many times before.
