I am happy to keep this week's list on the small side, as I have a book hitting tomorrow (one I have waited 2 years for) that will take up most of my free time this week. I'm so excited!!!!

Was going to try and get caught up to Jeff and Jimmy on the Legion read, as I am one behind, and I may still do so, but for now, I am keeping this list as bare as I can.
;D  Luckily, it's another super small week for Marvel (the norm lately), but a very small week for DC as well. Perfect time for my book to be released. Maybe the (New) Gods are smiling down on me?
 ;)

DC Universe Ultra
Absolute Flash #2
New Gods #5
Zatanna #3
Hellblazer #55
Legion of Super-Heroes #302

Fantastic Four #201

Ultimates - A decent enough origin story, but a little long (the page count should have been cut in half, I feel) but nice seeing a couple "new" characters. Still, just an okay issue. Nothing special, sadly.

TMNT #8 - awesome! I love this art!
(retro) TMNT vol 5 & 6
Barbaric vol 3 - awesome! now there's two groups!
Conan 20 -awesome!
Hornsby & Halo 4 - much more interesting now

Marvel

X-men 10 -AWESOME Scott being the best of what Xavier raised his mutants to be...whether he wanted that result or not!
Deadpool 10
Ultimates 9

Got a decent DC pull list this week too!

and I finished all my DC!

Wonder Woman, Detective Great! Worlds Finest going into a good place with the crossover. Wow is Batman & Robin good; so nice to care for the Damian character! I also read Aquaman, Nightwing, and Absolute Flash 2.

Oh and New Gods! So cool!! Can't believe I like New gods!

#4
Didn't get to my LCS til after work and alot of sold-out spots on the wall. They were already out of Space Ghost #12.
I did pick up:

Absolute Batman #8
Aquaman #5
Baman and Robin #21
Invincible Universe Battle Beast #1... a work peer recommended this.

I thought it was funny that X-Factor #10 was its final issue. Another attempt by Marvel to flood the market with mutant crap. I foresee X-Force following soon.

Gay Titan

The odd thing with Battle Beast is that the comics were blind polybagged and random. You may or may not actually get the comic inside. My buddy got one and inside was a foil cover variant of the Marvel Team Up with Invincible and Spidey. I got the Ngu variant that was 1:25. There was a limit of one per customer.

NAMOR #7 - really good penultimate issue.  Next issue is the repercussion of what this means.  Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the under sea kingdom.

ULTIMATES #9 - Overall decent issue.  Original if the "new" character is fine. But the overall story is starting to drag.

Oh wow.  That's crazy.  Nice that you got that limited variant though!

I wouldn't mind the flood if they were just good.  Sadly that's rarely the case these days.  And you're right about these two.  I'm surprised they've lasted this long.

Legion - A great issue (302) followed by a pretty weak one (303), but excited about some up-coming things

Hellblazer - Love, love, love the Jack the Ripper was a demon plot

Zatanna - Another cool issue and I am enjoying this new (to me at least) Lady White teaming up with Brother Night

New Gods - Another great, history building issue

Absolute Flash - This issue did seem more "Absolute" in its feel, but... I don't know... I am just not connecting to this series yet

I just had a ....shoot, a 'flash' of insight.

I think the disconnect and apathy is because this has been 2 issues exploring what feels like 15 minutes of time. Experiment goes off, Wally gets powers, runs around afraid and babbling while others try to contain him.

That's really...it. That's all that's happened. 2 issues of tremendous nothing.

Oh sure, some brief events have happened of Barry being kind to Wally & Wally's dad being abusive. So, we also know Barry is Nice, Wally's dad is bad. Brilliant writing!  :P

As my dad would say, "shit or get off the pot"

That's the story action right now! lol
