ABSOLUTE FLASH #2 - I liked it! I keep hearing that people don't like this but I don't know why.  I enjoyed the heck out of this issue. And loved this version of the Rogues.

BATMAN DARK PATTERNS #4 & 5 - Excellent second arc.  Love the villain and creepy where they've taken this. Looking forward to next issue.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7 & 8 - New story arc and Aaron has made the Turtles creepy! Excellent story though. I've become fascinated with these turtles and the anguish they are going through.

Legion of Super-Heroes #303 - An ok issue. Great plot and decent story but Levitz's dialogue needs some updating.  Still sounds too 70ish.  Emerald Empress's Robert Palmer backup singer look was bad. That look was bad in the 80's and has not aged well.

Legion of Super-Heroes #304 - Looks like changes are coming to the Legion. Interesting issue involving the Legion Academy students.  What's with Superman's descendant and her exhibitionist nature? lol.

THE NEW GODS #5 (OF 12) - Awesome issue! Two big surprises and an awesome art change for the difference in the past and present. Very well done.

Helen of Wyndhorn Vol 1 (Collects issues 1-6) - Awesome! This was a really good book.  I enjoyed the adventure of Helen and her grandfather and the great character exploration that King gave us.  And the art was magnificent.  Big hearts for this one.

PHOENIX #8 - pretty good issue.  This has been a good series as well. Putting Jean in the cosmic universe was a genius idea. It's allowed her to have adventures where her massive powers are challenged against beings with equivalent powers.  Plus having Nova and Rocket Raccoon on her team is also a big plus.

Redcoat 12 - cool stuff ! Northener part 2!! Really digging the 'universe' expanding!
Geiger 11 & 12 - and again, and expanding universe being explored, with new avenues of story exploration! I'm digging this!

Marvel

Immortal Thor 20 - some of the narration messed me up with its tense of when or what was being said, but I'm down for the story!
Amazing Spider-man 67 - so very not a Spidey story

Need to read X-men 11 & Deadpool 11; oh yeah, One World under Doom!!

Green Lantern 22 - this book does so much, and I'm so excited every time it happens

Absolute Wonder Woman 7 - GREAT issue. So in love with this Diana presentation!

Absolute Martian Manhunter 2 - trippy and weird, but still very interesting in where it's trying to go with its stuff

Legion 304 (I was already read through this from last week! ) Laurel Kent is a WEIRD chick!! Utterly forgot about the other Cosmic boy/kid character!!

So much to read yet! 6 more!!

Absolute Martian - Loving this book. Huge fan of Rodriquez and he once again nails the visuals here. Love the way Camp writes the telepathy powers.

Absolute WW - Another fantastic issue. Best of the Absolute titles, more often than not, and I see it here again

Green Lantern - Like Jimmy said, this title does so much, but where he is excited about it, I am getting the feeling it is getting a little too busy. But not gone yet!

Hellblazer - Awww, seeing Steve Dillon's art again makes me a little sad (crazy that's almost been ten years), but the story is good. Looking forward to more!!!

Legion - A decent issue, but some of the page art looks... weird. Not sure if it is an uncredited inker, a different colorists or just the DC creating digital copies scanning from paper (as it looks like bleed-through in spots) but the artwork is certainly different in this issue, yet I see the usual peeps credited. Anyway, my issue, or question I guess... why would the Legion use an Academy student to fill the roster and not say... oh I don't know... Polar Boy or someone else from the Subs? I mean, I know the Subs are deemed somewhat less in powerset, for the most part, and "unworthy" of being a legionnaire of full standing, but I would rather have had two from that group over any two from this group here in the Academy. Right now at least 

Iron Man - This is the good stuff!! The first few issues of the great Michelien/Romita Jr/Layton run of Tony now in the bag and I am stoked for what's to come!!

BATMAN/SUPERMAN: WORLD'S FINEST #38 (WE ARE YESTERDAY Part 1) - Fascinating start to this crossover. Always like Grodd but not sure what I think of this latest version.  We shall see.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: UNLIMITED #6 (WE ARE YESTERDAY Part 2) - Hmmm.  I guess this will be the answers for all of the previous issue's questions and happenings.  Not sure how good this will be but I'll finish it out to see.

Hotell Vol 1 (collects issues #1-4)
    Issue 1 - Creepy first issue. Definitely a horror book I'm not sure I'll get through.
    Issue 2 - Nice callback to the first issue using background characters as the focal story.
    Issue 3 - New character story and yet still has callbacks to the other issues. I like the way this web is weaved.
    Issue 4 - weird ending that ties everything back to the beginning.  OK for a horror book and at least it didn't drag out.

WOLVERINE #6 - I want to see this through even though the villain reveal didn't wow me.  I'll probably bail out on this title once this arc is finished.

Mystic 29  - Good wrap up to the arc where Giselle visits the different guilds. A murder mystery in the Tantric realm makes for an interesting story.

Mystic 30 - Funny one shot issue.

Mystic 31 - Cool start to a brand new arc as it seems Giselle has been kidnapped to the past!

CABLE: LOVE AND CHROME #2 - this would be an ok book if it had a better artist.  I'm giving it at least one more issue to see how this cliffhanger pays off.

DEADPOOL/WOLVERINE #2 - Enjoying this much more than the regular Wolverine title. Wade and Logan make a fun pair in this Percy written team up. And the villain is one of my favorites.

MAGIK #2 - Still an average story but I love the character so I'll keep with it.

ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM #1 - Now I'm curious about this.  I may pick up more titles than I originally planned too.  I'm not saying it's ground breaking or anything new, but it could be fun.

X-MEN #11 - Nice start for a new arc. Guest stars are going to be fun to read about!

F.F - A decent "let's reform the F.F" issue, featuring Zorba, with Sue showcasing how she is the most powerful member of the group and some great art by one of my old favs; Keith Pollard. Sadly a lot of this book looks more like Joe Sinnott inks (which is also perfectly fine), but I really wanted that Pollard art to shine through, but it only does in parts.

Precious Metal - Once again, this team knocks it out of the park with a wild ass, crazy Sci-Fi story, set about 35 years prior to their last collaboration, Little Bird, which I think was probably a little more fun for me honestly, but this was still a worthy read. Lots of pages to enjoy

ABSOLUTE MARTIAN MANHUNTER #2 - honestly I don't think I like this much.  It's different, and that's ok, but not really reeling me in.  I'll stick with it to see if that changes but so far I'm not enjoying it.

ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #7 - this, on the other hand, I like a lot.  Very interesting character development and I seem to always be left wanting more.

BATMAN #159 - kind of feels like some characters have regressed backwards. But the art is good!

GREEN ARROW #23  - I'm done. It's not terrible and I love this writer but the story just didn't  pull me in.

GREEN LANTERN #22 - BWAHAHAHAHA! This could have been the worst issue in history (it was not - actually really really good) and it still would become the all time greatest with that last page twist reveal!  I can't wait for next issue to drop!

Superman 25 - That was Awesome! An epic Superman battle with a huge twist ending.  Dangit! Looks like I'm back on Superman. This was just too good!

Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor 3 - that was a good little mini series with a satisfying end.  Not a must read recommendation but if you have time for something fun, give this a ride.

FCBD 2025: Fantastic Four/Giant Size X-Men - Well, I'm not picking up either of these.

FCBD 2025: Amazing Spider-Man/Ultimate Universe - Not a bad FCBD read. But I'll only pick up the Miles Morales Ultimate book.

DC All In 2025 FCBD Special Edition - I didn't care for the "All In" side. Superman Unlimited I'll be skipping.  The Absolute side however, was awesome! But I'm hoping they don't collide these worlds too soon.

Conan the Barbarian: FCBD 2025 - Oooo! A surprise preview for an upcoming event starting in Savage Sword of Conan!  Looks good!
