Wow, Thankfully not much new Marvel for me this week, though DC is bigger than I wanted. I'm carrying over all the rest of the stuff I didn't get to last week, which is a bit, but striving to do better this go 'round.

Wanted to read this, but saw that the artist for the last issue (issue #10) was back and I just can't do it. I think he is on for the next two or three issues as well. Kinda sucks, as I was enjoying this horror story, but no, can't do it. That said, please let me know if I am wrong and the art has changed?

For now, in its place I added the FF, which I tried last issue and enjoyed it, so maybe I found a temporary replacement?

Not sure what will be in my pull on Wednesday but got these yesterday at a flea market for chump change.

Booster Gold #2 (2007)
Cyborg #1, 2 (2015)
X-Force #1 (1991)... still in its original polybag with card insertion.

Perry

Hey Rodney,

How'd that Space Ghost comic hit?

The first couple issues are really interesting. It gives backstory to the cartoon we used to watch. The interior art is pretty good and the variant covers are beautiful. I am enjoying this series as well as the new Thundercats better than anything DC or Marvel is putting out.

I flipped through that Thundercats, just out of curiosity as I've always wanted to like them more than I ever did... I think the original cartoon hit a tad too late for me, but glad to know the Space Ghost is good. I will be looking for that if it hits Hoopla. Thanks

And wow, must be in an older comic mood as that is all I've read so far this week

Just freakin' fun. Yes, that word is not overly descriptive or precise, but it sums it all up for me.  ;D I think the next issue wraps up this arc, featuring the Squadron Supreme and I see the title is a nod to who the Squadron is modeled after- "20,000 LEAGUEs under JUSTICE"  ;)

This was an odd one for me. Clark goes to a hospital to visit the parents of an old high school friend, that has been in a coma, from a car accident that happened years ago. As the kids parents have decided it is time to end life support for their son, Clark stops by to talk to them and say goodbye to his friend. We find that Clarks friend was injured in the car accident, while under the influence, and we find that the accident happened back in high school with Clark in the car (along with Lana Lane and another friend). It seems Clark was unaware of his powers at the time and while he walked away totally unharmed, he has always felt a little guilty for allowing his friends to drive under the influence. It was a decent enough story, I was just not expecting it.

LoSH - This issue was full of 70's ridiculousness... and I enjoyed the hell out of it. Haha. I mean, some of the things that happen in this issue are flat out bonkers, but yeah, I still found I enjoyed it a good bit. Honestly, probably my favorite of the ones so far.

Batman/Superman World's Finest #29.... I'm glad this Imp-verse arc is wrapping up.

Incredible Hulk 11 - glad this was an all issue battle. Made the end of the arc go by faster. This art is abysmal and so I'm finally jumping off.

Rook:Exodus 3 - Great issue! I'm loving all of the different wardens and the lead up to an eventual war.  Johns and Fabok are nailing it with this title.

It could have been told in a single issue or a back-up story in an annual.

Well we will have to disagree on that one as well  :)

But hey, its all good. Jeff isn't a fan either so it isn't like you are alone  ;D (but of course even if you were that would also be fine)
:)

But I think what Dan Mora has been doing on these three Imp issues (four when all is said and done), is pretty freakin' cool. Its just fun comics. Maybe I'm just getting nostalgic, I have been reading more older comics lately, but yeah, for me, this has been a true blast. Haven't read the latest issue yet, but I'm still trying to think of who... no-spoils...  the one "main" bad guy reminds me of... it is bugging the hell outta me. I will get it one day.
;D

Finally knocked off my Marvel yesterday, now onto DC and more Hoopla.

Gods - Wow, what a great

twist towards the end. He warned her about her eyes... haha, wow, didn't see that coming. Also, weirdly enough, I both hated and really enjoyed the new look, or this artist's interpretation, of The Living Tribunal.

Damn I am going to miss this book. So good.

Ultimate Spidey - And back to back goodness here with
Spoiler
a new look Goblin and an awesome Bullseye. Plus I am absolutely loving the Ben/Jonah pairing

Marvel has been sliding down over the last couple years, mainly on art, but I so enjoy the (few) comics I am reading from them.

Savage Sword - And three for three it be! This was my favorite Sword issue yet. It was nice to see Carey Nord back on Conan again, although he looked rushed a lot of the time, he was an important part of Conan when Dark Horse had the rights, so nice to see him return. I also dug the (far too quick) opening story he was on, even though it is just a Conan story... haha... you know what you're getting, sure, but sometimes the meal is still enjoyable.  ;) I also enjoyed the Solomon Kane part, but honestly, they have been getting better since issue one. Still not reading the prose stuff... yet, but damn do I enjoy those pin-ups
;D

Action Comics - This was... well... a mess, honestly. Maybe due to me not being a Superman "Family" guy? Perhaps, but no, I don't think I can put most of the blame on my shoulders, not being overly familiar with the cast, that's for the writer to not make me feel that way. No, I think it is just not a good issue. But hey, I could be spoiled from last nights fun and it just felt a little different for me? I will say
Spoiler
the Queen was stupid. How powerful is she again?

Redcoat - Uh-Oh. I'm zero for two on today's reads. This one, a title I have very much enjoyed, was nowhere near as fun for me as past issues have been. I did like the last page and look forward to where this goes, but at the same time... meh. Yeah, I am getting worried that my morning reading will be nothing but bad. One last try coming in 3, 2..

Geiger - WHOO-HOO. Finally, another good comic! Great action, good dialog, beautiful art and of course a FUN read!! Well, not all fun, well no, I should say not all "happy", but a much more enjoyable read than the last two for sure.

Action Comics 1066 - decent wrap towards the end.  Looks like the Superman issue will be the big finale.  Learned more about Lena Luther here.  I really didn't know anything about her character so it was nice to get to know her.

Batman 149 - The answer to what happened to the clone is the focus here and a good epilogue for the Zur story.  Not 100% thrilled with the new direction but it's a decent compromise I think.

Green Lantern: War Journal 10 - slow progress this issue.  Almost a throw away.  But I like the "reveal" on the last page.  Hopefully the action moves faster now.

I guess I was being nice because I got interested in Lena but you're pretty accurate here.  The thing relating to your spoiler especially.
