Short week!!
Also, throwing up a "I hope this hits" trade for Hoopla, as I can never find a good directory for what is coming out on that platform, until they release the issues. So yeah, maybe I will read that last Black Hammer or maybe I won't. I do know I will probably be lost as hell because it has been so long since I read that universe... and I thought the last arc I read was just mediocre... if I remember correctly so who knows. But I want to try it. IF it comes out. I am almost sure Saga #67 will drop as they have always been right on time with those, although I realize now that I held off reading the last few as I was waiting for the trade. Forgot all about it. But who knows, it may not drop anyway. Haha.
Of course that 'not knowing what is hitting Hoopla', occasionally comes with a surprise drop as well, so... there is always that

The Hunger and the Dusk, Vol. 1 - Good book.  I like it but didn't think I'd continue past this volume.  I've changed my mind.  Enjoyed where it went and got more interested in the main characters towards the end. I would like to see how this plays out a little longer.

Wolverine Madripoor Knights 3-5 - I was enjoying this until the end when they brought in a bunch of magic stuff.  These characters are best when involved with more espionage type of stories.  I enjoyed the nostalgia of it more than the actual story in the long run.

G.O.D.S. 7 - Another good issue.  This title finally hit its stride and sadly ends next issue.  If this had been an Image title I think it would've become a hit.  Just needed more time.

Ultimate Spider-Man 4 - Nothing, and I mean nothing, really happened in this issue. Pretty big let down for me.

Absolute Power 1 - ok I'm back in.  I liked this a lot better than last week's Ground Zero book.  This has potential to be fun to read.

Batman 150 - I really liked the first story by Chip Zdarsky.  I didn't think I would but it was well written with some great characterization. The second story tied into Absolute Power and I didn't care for it. Zdarsky got a little too preachy and took me out of the story.

Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes (1977-) 247 - Part two of the Fatal Five story ended with a fizzle sadly.  I love the Fatal Five and hoping for a better story the next time the reappear.  The second story surrounding electing a new Legion leader was a fun nod back to Superboy's first encounter with the Legionaries. I liked it.

Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes (1977-) 248 - cover was a bit misleading but you get the gist of the story.  Decent character interactions causing drama but the villain/villains are lame.  Maybe part 2 will be better.

Blizzard - Jeff pointed me to this nice, short collection of a story that was not only pretty cool, but ties into Johns' Unnamed Universe. Enjoyable read and worth the time 

JSA - Enjoying what I am getting, but damn, I am still mad about the time that it takes for me to get it 

Absolute Power - Yep, like Jeff I am back in. I am kinda surprised by that after reading the ground zero issue. I was somewhat disappointed in that issue, but this was pretty engaging. 

Avengers - The end of the Squadron arc. It is very neat remembering that none of the characters know the identity of any of Iron Man at this point. I liked how Moondragon convinces Thor the power he has been using had been less than it could be, just by being around the humans. He didn't need it to be as strong when not fighting gods. He brings that more god-like power back at the end of the issue 

Team-Up - Beast goes from the Avengers to helping Spidey. More like Spidey helping Hank by the end when the classic (and terrible) Griffen!! Ugh. Not the best of issues (though love seeing Sal Buscema's art at anytime) but hey, it is a read through after all   

Utlimate Spidey - Far too much talking, to get to the set-up. I don't need action all the time and I don't mind talking heads, but when it is the entire issue...?   

Gods - I am going o miss this title when it ends next issue. This was a very Warren Ellis type issue for me. Not sure why, but yeah, got those fuzzy feelings. Really liked it. But I want more of this!!!

Batman - Loved seeing Cowan art again, and the story was decent enough. It's good to show Bat as a hero every now and then  The back-up story, the Absolute Power tie-in was fine, mainly telling us that

LoSH - Wow, that was a fast freaking story. Mon-El not shown in the proper light, but... no... this was bad.
